This menu lets you defineCYwhich audio hardware you will use, the number of outputs, and the latency time. CMY N K 7 / 14 3 Getting started If you want to use your internal computer soundcard, choose the Multi Channel mode (if not selected already). If you want to use an external souncard of your choice with 2 outputs or an extra USB soundcard, choose the ASIO mode. In ASIO mode, press the setup button to select audio outputs. Press the control panel button to access to the soundcard driver control panel. You can also set up the monitoring: this is useful if you do not use an external mixer allowing monitoring. In the example below, the soundcard audio output 1/2 connects to your sound system’s MASTER input and output 5/6 is used to connect your headphones. You only have to set up your players on output 1 and click on the monitoring button to monitor a media in the appropriate player. Depending on your hardware, a latency time that is set too low can affect media playback. If you experience audio_1.pdf 14:43:40 sound cuts, progressively increase06/11/2009 latency until the problem is solved.
