This summer could not have been as amazing as it was without the memories and stories that came from it. Here at camp we had five stories which our staff here at Camp have been following since the summer. Here is a update: Since the Knights of Brébeuf-a-lott have come together, they have triumph over the dreaded Pond Plunger of the Canoe Pond. This victory was so successful, the King and Queen awarded their leader the Red Knight the honour of being called Sir Red Knight of Brébeuf-a-lott. The Wise Men furthered their travels now through Rockwood to the Cons and now have found a new tunnel with in caves. The Grinch‟s heart has grown 3 sizes since his encounter at Camp. The Fall Outdoor Education Staff have found the „Time Machine‟ and have buried it again. After hearing the events the Summer Programming Staff went through and time gaps the machine had created, the OE Fall Staff thought this was the best decision. They will not disclose where the Time Machine is now located. EnviroGirl and Flouro are in the training processes to become Firefighters in British Columbia. Medical Marvel has been sighted at Guelph General helping out in the ER. While Mustache Man and Beard Boy have travelled to this year‟s “Moustache and Beard Championships” in Berlin, Germany. There has been no word on their outcome. Mario recently was seen going down a pipe in Maranatha. As for the Duck Farmers, they have lost the duck again. Last we heard from the sets of twins, they have been casted for a Double Mint Gum commercial! Now the families, they are continuing to live at camp in harmony. Team Italy has redesigned and painted the camp van. Team Canada is preparing for the winter here at camp with getting the hockey gear together. While Team Ireland and Team England has been trying to get the staff uniforms to include kilts. As for the Medium size bear, he moved up north to Thunder Bay for the winter. Hope the memories of the weeks are with you till next summer when new memories will be made! From all of the Camp Brébeuf Summer Staff 2010, we would like to thank you campers for coming to camp and helping us making this one of the best summer so far! Maybe we will see you sometime this year with your school or maybe back again in the summer! I hope you are having a great school year! We are having a super season here at Camp with Outdoor “Study Nature, Love Nature, Education! The leaves are Stay close to nature, turning and it It will never fail you.” won‟t be long -Frank Lloyd Wright until there will Have you ever wondered how the leaves create the beautiful blend of colours during the fall? Think of leaves as little solar panels for the trees. Just as solar panels use the sun to produce energy, leaves use the sun to produce food for the trees. This process is called photosynthesis which means “to put together with light”. Photosynthesis creates a chemical reaction which creates chlorophyll in the leaves. Until next time! Stay Golden! - Kristy yellow or orange then to red Chlorophyll is the chemical which helps the leaves stay and purple then to brown. It‟s green. When the weather fun to see how God made starts to get colder, the sun things work along with makis not out as long as the ing it a beautiful thing to spring or summer. This lack watch. Your thumb is the digit nearest to our heart, so pray first for those who are closest to you. Pray for your teachers, mentors, pastors, and those who inspire your faith. The third finger is the tallest. Let it stand for the leaders in every sphere of life. Pray for those in authority –both within the body of Christ and those who hold office in various areas of government. The fourth finger is the weakest, as every pianist knows. Let it stand for those who are in trouble and pain – the sick, the injured, abused, wounded, or hurt. The little finger is the smallest. Let it stand for those who often go unnoticed, including those who suffer abuse and deprivation. t? kfas r brea o f t a e a Tree s e o d at Q: Wh r s! dinato t-Loop r o o o o R C : A –OE Kristy From Q: Wh y do b ird fl A: Be y sou cause th?
