Our maintenance contracts are drawn-up with your input. So as to meet your requirements, we offer three formulas for Electrical Maintenance Contracts : The Prevention Contract: This ensures optimum performance levels for your electrical facilities by : n manufacturer maintenance, n emergency support in liaison with our Service teams. The Prevention + Package : Based on the Prevention Contract, it manages budgetary variations owing to intervention time during incidents, due to * option “free support”. Under the contract, Schneider Electric assumes the hourly cost of urgent curative maintenance. The Prevention ++ Package : This meets your financial security requirements and optimises the cost of both preventive and corrective maintenance due to * option “free support” and ** option “free parts”. This covers the time, parts and equipment required to restart the malfunctioning elements identified in the Contract. These formulas may be adapted to your requirements in terms of service level and the scope of the services. At your request, additional options may be progressively added to the packages in-line with the life cycle of your facilities (e.g.: level 5 maintenance). Schneider Electric Services Retrofit Retrofit on switchgear and protection devices Modernization Presentation of the offer Introduction Today, the productivity, operating safety, continuity of service and availability requirements of installations are such that at all levels of a company, the quest for high performance is a major consideration. The experience gained by Schneider Electric in carrying out more than 5000 medium-voltage retrofits on Belledonne, Taillefer, Fluair and Vercors cubicles and more than 3000 low-voltage retrofits on T140, T12 and Masterbloc switchboards has enabled us to acquire the expertise and know-how required to help you secure the loyalty of your customers. According to the equipment concerned, Schneider Electric offers different types of services, including: @ Supplying spare parts, @ Modifying cubicles, @ Replacing protective devices, @ Replacing original devices with latest-generation devices. There are various ways of replacing old devices. The most usual methods are: Retrofit: the original circuit breaker and its truck are replaced @ The connection interfaces (power and low voltage) are adapted for use on the original cubicle. @ The new circuit breaker is fitted with the new interfaces. @ The solution is tested mechanically with the mounting jig. Retrofil: the original truck is retained and fitted with a new circuit breaker @ The original truck is renovated. @ The power interfaces are either retained and renovated or they are recreated. @ The new circuit breaker is adapted for mounting on the original truck. @ The solution is tested mechanically with the mounting jig. Schneider Electric can also implement these solutions with devices manufactured by its competitors (Alstom, Calor Emag, ABB, ASEA, BBC, UNELEC, AREVA). Many retrofitted devices are in use worldwide. Schneider Electric is actively working to improve delivery times and optimise the costs of retrofit solutions in order to provide you with constant support and help in ensuring customer satisfaction. We pay particular attention to quality, which is our major consideration. www.eastmed.schneider-electric.com Modernization Presentation of the offer Renovations solutions Scope of the offer Switchboard renovation @ Progressive replacement without modification of customers’ equipment: renovation of medium and low voltage switchgear, kits for improving equipment. @ Complete replacement or addition of cubicles by extension: insertion of cubicles into the switchboard with connection ducts, addition at the end of the switchboard of cubicles identical to the initial cubicle, in accordance with floor space constraints. Switchgear renovation Replacement of old medium and low voltage switchgear and protection devices by retrofit solutions. Supply of spare parts Ensure the supply of spare parts for equipment that is no longer commercialized by the equipment-producing departments. Cost-effective solutions to fit your needs @ No break in continuity of service, @ No added civil engineering work, @ No modification of your equipment, @ Operating constraints taken into account, @ Progressive renovation to fit your budget. Validated and tested solutions @ Manufacturer’s warranty on renovated equipment, @ Factory-validated and tested equipment. In the case of medium-voltage devices manufactured by our competitors, the retrofil solution is the simplest and fastest method of replacing a customer’s equipment. We can renovate a customer’s original truck and fit it with a Schneider Electric device, circuit breaker or contactor. The power connection elements are either renovated or reconditioned. The devices are then tested for dielectric withstand and overheating and undergo mechanical tests. Micrologic Control Units All Masterpact are equipped with a Micrologic electronic control unit that offers a complete set of protections and state of the art measurements. and Ensuring safety at any time All Masterpact are equipped with a Micrologic electronic control unit that offers all types of current and advanced protection, measurement and communication. Protection functions are separated from the measurement functions and are managed by an ASIC electronic component. This independence guarantees immunity from conducted or radiated disturbances and ensures the highest degree of reliability. Optimising the management of your electrical installation When equipped with a Micrologic types E, P or H, Masterpact can be integrated in a general supervision system to optimise installation operation and maintenance. Alarms may be programmed for remote indications. Used with PowerLogic ION Enterprise software, you can exploit the electrical data (current, voltage, energy, frequency, power, and power quality) to optimise continuity of service and energy management: • reduce energy and operations costs; • improve power quality, reliability and uptime; • optimise equipment use. Maximising continuity of service Because a LV power supply interruption is unacceptable especially in critical power applications, an automatic system is required for LV transfer switching. For your peace of mind, Masterpact enables automatic control and management of power sources in your low voltage distribution network guaranteeing the hi-reliability of your installation. 30 2 EGX300 gateway-server or iRIO RTU The EGX300 web-enabled gateway-server or the iRIO RTU (remote terminal unit) can both be used as Ethernet coupler for the PowerLogic System devices and for any other communicating devices operating under Modbus RS485 protocol. Masterpact UR Whenever high short circuit is involved Masterpact UR is a low voltage ultra rapid opening circuit breaker. Its fault detection rate and its reaction speed mean that it will stop a short circuit from developing. As a result, this is the key component in very high power installations equipped with a number of power sources connected in parallel. Masterpact UR truly comes into its own when short circuit currents can reach very high levels and when continuity of service is a must: offshore installations, cement plants, petrochemical industry. It is also especially suited to electrical installations on board merchant ships. Schneider Electric East Mediterranean s.a.l. Optimised volumes Masterpact is the smallest power circuit breaker in the world, concentrating all the performances of a sophisticated power circuit breaker in compact dimensions. Masterpact thus optimises the installation and guarantees its operation in complete peace of mind. Ease of installation Masterpact range has been designed to standardise switchboards and simplify installation: • single pole pitch for each physical size: 115/230 mm for NW, 70 mm for NT; • incoming connection to top or bottom terminals: front or horizontal or vertical rear connections that can be modified on-site without changing the depth; • no derating up to 55 °C and 4000 A. Maximum security The arc chutes absorb the energy released during breaking, thus limiting the stresses exerted on the installation. They filter and cool the gases produced, reducing effects perceptible from the outside. 60 More than patents 86% of materials can be recycled at the end of product life.
