The drawing motion from a SERPA holster reinforces proper grip,
weapon presentation and safety. The placement of the SERPA
Auto Lock™ release reinforces a full master grip by allowing the
shooter to draw the weapon with the index finger sliding from
the holster body to the weapon frame in a single movement.
This draw technique is common to all holster types in the SERPA
family, allowing officers to transition from a simple Level 2 duty
or tactical holster to a more elaborate Level 3 duty or tactical
holster using the same technique. By reinforcing the learned
skills, training time is significantly reduced, and officer safety and
survivability in high-stress situations is increased.
