Let toddlers develop their own sense of when they are full. Sometimes children will be hungry and eat a lot. Other times, they won’t eat very much. Choose snacks wisely. Select snacks that are high in healthful nutrients, but low in sugar and fat. Some good snack ideas are: fruits, vegetables, hard boiled eggs, peanut butter and crackers, tortilla with cheese, yogurt - plain or with fruit and/or nuts, and healthy fruit shakes.
