Unlike other lift systems the HDS scissor lift needs no base frame on the floor and no trouble­
some cross connections. The special design grants you the very best access to the lifted
vehicle from all sides for maximum use. You can easily reach any part of the vehicle.
Your workbench with tools or parts can roll directly underneath the lifted vehicle without
any obstacles. Due to the vertical raise this innovative system saves valuable space in your
workshop.

Do you want to expand your workshop in the future? With the Finkbeiner HDS lift you stay
flexible. It can be installed easily anywhere – without expensive foundations. The lift can be
relocated to another area easily.
No matter what type of vehicles you may have in the future - this system works for all vehicles,
for compact short fork-trucks up to long truck and trailers. Long vehicles are lifted with two HDS
scissor lifts in tandem. The single lifts can also be used individually to work on two vehicles
separately. That’s the flexibility you need for all various operations for the future.
In daily use even under hard environment conditions the patented Finkbeiner HDS scissor lift is
characterised by its special economy. The moveable and wearing parts are at a minimum for
longer life expectancy. For better protection the hydraulic lifting cylinders are integrated underneath the runways. This increases safety of operation and ruggedness of the lift, which makes
this patented half scissor low-maintenance-system unsurpassable in the market.

day to day‹‹
Drive-on and work. The HDS scissor lift needs no set-up time and is immediately ready to lift
all types of vehicles. Press the push button at the central control unit and the vehicle is lifted to
the required height. Working at the wheels from the side or at the motor from the front – the
vehicle can be raised to the ideal working position, making the working area pleasant and
accessible.
Even at different load distribution the vehicle can be lifted without problems. For example you
may position a bus with the heavy rear overhang on the runways as far backwards as possible.
The free access saves precious time when working underneath the vehicle at the rear motor or
outboard units.
Trouble-free drive-on: just drive onto the

Used as a lift for inspection or for maintenance – the Finkbeiner HDS scissor lift is available with
various convenient accessories – like this you can individually adapt the lift specifications to your
own special requirements.
Axle lift with support bridge
Enables the lifting of an individual vehicle axle. The rolling axle lift integrated between the runways can easily be moved along the whole length. To use the axle lift for further axles the lifted
axle is lowered onto the support bridge which is also moveable along the runways.
Wheel carriage
Enables quick wheel service at the ideal working height with minimal effort (see pic. page 7).
Under body lighting kit
High intensity fluorescent lamps can be fitted to the inner edge of platforms giving total
illumination of the underside of the vehicle. No need for lead lamps and hazardous trailing wires.
Electric and pneumatic sockets for power tools
Easy handling of power tools with no hazardous extension cables. Directly plug-in your power
tools in the sockets integrated within the runways.
The oil system
For clean filling or discharging of oil at the vehicle. One or more hose reels with metering heads
are mounted within the runways and are easily accessible to or from an external tank.
Further accessories to suit the HDS scissor lift are available: e.g. portable platform lifts to assist
the removal of engines, transmission jacks etc.

Integrated oil supply system for

No additional cables for power tools: the lift

The Finkbeiner HDS scissor lift is one of the most versatile in the market worldwide. It can be
used as a single lift or combined as a tandem lift for long vehicles such as truck-and-trailers and
articulated buses. The galvanised version is fully resistant to water, wash chemicals, salt and dirt
– thus ideally suitable even for washing.
Particularly the excellent access to all parts of the vehicle is what makes this system the most
versatile for all works such as maintenance or repair, bodywork, wheels, brakes, exhaust
