The theme is light
Culture Night celebrates the light that comes with springtime, and the light that
arts and music can create in people’s eyes and hearts. Many of the organizers are
bringing the theme of light into the events, from the Production School exhibit
that shows how to make your own candles, to the light show illuminating the local
businesses of Grindsted Torv.
The Youth- and Culture Schools are celebrating light by surrounding it with
darkness, so it can really shine. At MAGION they will offer a dark room, where you
can take a selfie with glow-in-the-dark face paint, create fluorescent paintings, and
much more.
The Kulturhus becomes poetic, setting a focus on life’s brightest qualities, people
and feelings with the breathtaking Swedish film “As It Is In Heaven.” Just before the
film is a short concert with Vokalias singing the beautiful “Gabriella’s Song”.
Enjoy events in three
areas of the town:
• MAGION, including Magion,
the library and music center.
• CITY CENTER, including the
shops of Grindsted Torv and
Grindsted Kulturhus.
• APOTEK SQUARE,
including Grindsted Church,
