Dear "In A Pikle" Representatives,
What a wonderful month at "In A Pikle"! It has been fun to hear about the
happy recipients of the new Tool Wrap. (We would love you to post some of
your pics!) If you are not familiar with the story, my father was the mastermind
behind the new "In A Pikle Tool Wrap". Growing up, he talked often about his
dream to make and sell his favorite tool wrap. It has been fun to bring this to
fruition! He was pretty excited for this Father's Day gift!
My dad is very influential in my life and a hero in every sense. He was my
math tutor through high school and college and I am sure his genes are to
blame for my entrepreneurial itch. He is one of the most hardworking people
I know. He loves people. He always talks about his friends (everyone is his
friend).
My dad is famous for his one liners. One of my favorites is
“Don't sweat the small stuff!"
He would then follow it up with
"everything is small stuff!"
This was perfect advice for a stressed out daughter, student, and mother! Everything is better when we step back and put things
in perspective.
The daily struggles can cause us to forget the important things in life...family, friends, and relationships! Sometimes, in this industry,
we can get caught up in the drama. Often we are distracted because we are focused on what others are doing or not doing.
We expend a lot of energy worrying, back biting, gossiping, and being critical. The truth is, if that energy were focused toward
our goals (personally and professionally), we could accomplish amazing things!

We challenge you to look for the best in others. Focus on your goals....and "don't sweat the small stuff!!" Thank you for all you do

Have you ever thought about how a magnet works? Depending on the direction it
is pointing it either repels other magnets or attracts them. Have you thought about
how you are similar to a magnet when it comes to potential team members and
how you too can either repel or attract people to your organization?
A long time ago I had a great mentor who introduced me to the power of the "Law of
Attraction" and how it could make an incredible difference in my life. He taught me that
whatever you attract to yourself, whatever you give your focus, attention or energy to,
whether wanted or unwanted, is what you will receive. So think for a moment how this simple
law can impact your business...especially the growth of your team.
For me personally it was reflecting on the type of people I wanted to attract. I made a list of
qualities I wanted people to have such as integrity, perseverance, positive, determined,
motivated, etc. Then I took a hard look at myself and realized that if I wanted to attract
people that possessed those qualities, I needed to have them too.
People want to be around others who inspire. They want to surround themselves with people
who make them happy, who are fun and love life. People want to associate with people
who will challenge them and encourage them to be better.
I ask each of you to take a few minutes and reflect on the type of qualities you have and how
those either attract or repel people in your life. If you see an area that needs some attention
then invest in yourself, believe in yourself and your ability to change, and work towards
improving that area. We are all a work in progress and no one will ever be perfect.
However, when it comes to attracting people and the ability to develop relationships with
others, the first thing to do is work on you...and your belief in you!
Imagine starting to believe in yourself and your infinite possibilities. Imagine believing you
deserve everything you want out of life. Imagine getting everything you want out of life…
now go and get it!
