BOEUF WMA RULES & REGULATIONS
1.
The testing, racing, speeding or unusual maneuvering of any type of vehicle is
prohibited within wildlife management areas due to property damages resulting in
high maintenance costs, disturbances of wildlife and destruction of forest reproduction.

Tractor or implement tires with farm tread designs R1, R2, and R4 commonly known
as spade or lug grip types are prohibited on all vehicles. No DOT or AG tires.
3.
The possession, consumption or sale of alcoholic beverages by participants in the
ride is absolutely prohibited on the trail during the ride.
4.
Operating ATVs under the influence of alcohol or in an otherwise unsafe manner
is prohibited. Manufacturer’s warnings and instructions for the operation of the
ATVs should be followed. Minors under the age of 16 should not operate ATVs.
5.
Vehicles and ATVs are allowed on established roads and parking areas only. The
designated trail shall be open to participants in the Wish I Could organized ride.
Drawing held at Noon on the day of the ride. Need not be present to win. Delivery to
winner at Moeller’s Honda Yamaha & Kawasaki, 1415 East Madison, Bastrop, LA, Phone
number (318) 281-4000. Winner must pay taxes on ATV upon delivery.
6.
No littering is allowed. Dumpsters will be provided. PLEASE USE THEM.
Wish I Could dues paying members and immediate family are NOT eligible to win.
7.
Possession of firearms or weapons of any type are strictly prohibited.

8.
The trail ride and all associated activities must be conducted so as to not
reasonably interfere with other users of Boeuf WMA. ie. Vehicles must not block
roads, boat launches, parking areas, etc.
9.
The trail ride may take place only between sunrise and sunset. After sunset, no
riding my be initiated and participants should conclude riding as quickly as
possible.
10. Possession of a VALID Louisiana Hunting license, Fishing License or Louisiana
Wild Stamp is required by state law for each individual, 16 years of age or older,
using the WMA. One day stamps are available. Stamps may be obtained by calling
1-888-765-2602.
11. ATV regulations by the La Department of Wildlife and Fisheries are waived for
one day with limitations as follows: Weight shall not exceed 1,000 pounds. Length
shall not exceed 100” and width shall not exceed 60”.
$5.00 donation for each opportunity - all proceeds go to Wish I Could of Northeast
Louisiana. Thanks to Yamaha for donating the 2011 Grizzly.

General Release
FOR GOOD CONSIDERATION, the undersigned jointly and severally hereby forever release, discharge and forgive
WISH I COULD OF NORTHEAST LOUISIANA, INC., and/or Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries from
any and all claims, actions, suits, demands, agreements and each of them, if more than one, liabilities, judgements,
proceedings both at law and in equity arising from the beginning of time and the date of these presence and as more
particularly related to or arriving from any damages or injuries to persons and/or property while participating in the
Marengo Swamp Ride sponsored by WISH I COULD OF NORTHEAST LOUISIANA, INC.
Failure to remain on marked entrance/exit routes will result in fines and/or penalties assessed by the owner
of damaged property.
This release shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit of the parties, their successors, assigns and personal
representatives.
Alcohol is strictly forbidden on the ride. If you are caught with alcohol, you WILL be fined.
Commercial and/or for profit videotaping is prohibited. By signing this agreement, you and any passengers
understand that any videotaping in any form is for personal, non-commercial use only.
Riding on Friday and/or Friday night, both in the park area and in the outlying community, is FORBIDDEN and will be
strictly enforced. Private citizens live in this area and we expect common courtesy be shown to them and their property.
