Sarıkamış Ski Center is located in the Southeast of Sarıkamış district centre.
The centre, which is 2034 meter high, is on Çamurlu Mountain 55 km far
away from Kars. Cıbıltepe, which has a 12 km long and 5-staged ski-run, is
2500 km high and has a wonderful natural beauty. Being coated with crystal
snow, makes Cıbıltepe much more attractive fort the skiers.
Transportation
Sarıkamış Ski Center is 50 km way from Kars airport. It is possible to get the
skiing complex from the airport by bus. It is possible to get the skiing
complex from the city centre by private vehicles.

Ani Ancient City
Ani Ancient City, whose history is based on Catholic Era, can be fairly
called as “city of churches and monasteries”. These huge monuments
make its visitors live a visual feast by bringing past to life. Ani Cathedral,
The Apostles’ Church, Gagik Church, Saint Krikor Church and Virgins
Monastery are the historical monuments to be seen. In this ancient city,
which is unique in the world, photograph fans can take mysterious and

Çıldır Lake
Çıldır Lake, which is the second biggest lake of Turkey after Van Lake, is
green and peaceful in summer while it is totally frozen in winter. You can
even eat fresh fish in the winter. The deepest point of the lake, which is
1959 meter high from the sea level, is 42 meters.
In winter fishing is done by breaking the thick ice layer on the surface of
the frozen lake. Çıldır Lake promises enjoyable hours to its visitors with
its peace of being in nature.
