Good evening,
Welcome to the St. Louis Apartment Association’s 2014 Rising Star Awards Banquet. On
behalf of the Board of Directors, I would like to welcome you and thank you for attending to
honor our nominees for this year’s thirty-four award categories. Special congratulations to all
of this year’s nominees! One-hundred and thirty-seven nominations were received,
representing thirty member companies. We thank our judges from Kansas City for selecting
this year’s winners. We know the decision was extremely difficult given the quantity and
variety of impressive nominees.
On behalf of SLAA, I would like to thank the sponsors of this event. Each of our sponsors went
above and beyond this year to raise funds to make this event spectacular. SLAA sincerely
appreciates your generosity. We have displayed the names of our sponsors throughout the
ballroom and in tonight’s program. As always, we encourage “members doing business with
