comedy “Drinking Alone”. Following that will be our trip
Deck the halls with boughs of holly, falalalalalalalala ‘Tis the season to be jolly, falalalalalalalala As usual, there is no newsletter for December but there are upcoming events about which you should be aware so you can book early and avoid disappointment. The first of these is on Saturday, January 31 when we will travel to the Best Western Cobourg Dinner Theatre for the very funny comedy “Drinking Alone”. Following that will be our trip to the Herongate Barn Theatre on Sunday, March 1, to see the hilarious farce “Skin Flick”. Both of these will involve lunch at noon. On Saturday, March 28, we will head to Frankie Tomatto’s for lunch and then on to the George Weston Recital Hall for a stunning performance by the world champion Toronto Northern Lights men’s chorus. Despite the fact event attendance was down this year, your Club did plan and run 11 events with a total attendance of close to 500 members and guests. Your Social Committee has already planned a number of events for next year. See the attached flyers for the first three events. The Board of Directors and your Social Committee members wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas and health and happiness in the New Year. And remember, as a token of appreciation for your support, the Board of Directors has waived the membership fee for 2015. Your membership will continue.
