Show Me Reader Book Club
YA Events
The Show Me Reader Book Club is for 2nd & 3rd graders.
We will meet the 2nd Wed. of each month from October 12
to March 8 (except January) from 7 - 8. This is an intro to
book clubs with picture books, activities, and refreshments. Two books will be read aloud at each meeting.
Treehouse Book Club
The Treehouse Book Club is for 4th- 6th graders. We will
meet the 1st Wed. of each month from October 5 to
March 1 (except January) from 7 - 8. Enjoy meeting with
other readers to discuss, create, and munch.
The theme is “Amazing Animals”
October 5: Flora and Ulysses by Kate DiCamillo
November 2: Crenshaw by Katherine Applegate
December, February, & March titles to be announced.
Youth Leadership Program
Toastmasters International
An interactive 8-week course in the arts of communication
& leadership for 7th - 12th graders will be taught by Toastmasters International, a public speaking organization.
Refreshments will be served.
