We want to make it easier for you to choose your plants. Garden News at Uncanoonuc: Last summer we continued work on the Rose Garden. (Photos are posted on our Facebook page.) An 80’ long, gorgeous, white wooden fence for climbers was installed. It features a central pergola which will shelter a swing. We planted several varieties of roses, some special honeysuckle and clematis as well as two dwarf pears which will be espaliered. Fragrant ‘Hidcote’ lavender hedges line the entry and main paths. This summer we hope to fill the beds with roses of all colors, some choice perennials including Dianthus and our favorite annual, vanilla scented Heliotrope. It's a dream coming true...
