Those detained include Showkat Ahmad Lone, Ikhlaq Ahmad Sheikh, Sajjad Ahmad Chopan, Zahoor Ahmad Bhat, Muhamamd Sayed Parry, Abdul Wadood, Muhammad Sayed Parray, Showkat Ahmad Bhat Mandji, Tanveer Qadri Mandji, Abdul Qayoom Ganai Nadihal, Tanveer Ahmad Malla and CM trying to be more loyal than the king: Hurriyat (M) Srinagar, July 4: Terming the policies of pro-India parties as a reason for economic crisis in Jammu Kashmir, Hurriyat Conference (M) Monday said blaming the conglomerate for the economic instability in JK is a ploy meant to cover the “heinous crimes” perpetuated by selling out the interests of the people to New Delhi. In a statement here a spokesman of the conglomerate said: “The CM at the behest of RSS is overseeing harassment of resistance leadership although the reality was that if Jammu Kashmir is facing economic predicament, it is due to the forcible control of New Delhi and pillaging of its abundant natural resources by GoI for which only pro-India parties are responsible.” “The loot of Jammu Kashmir’s resources has brought economic instability to the state which is a deliberate ploy to make Kashmiris dependent and the only people who were deriving benefits from it were state’s pro-India politicians,” he claimed. He said, “By claiming that shutdowns are responsible for prevailing economicmessinthestateandoverlooking the real reasons, the CM is trying to be more loyal than the king to New Delhi.” Wildlife casual labourers appeal CM monthly remuneration is Rs 4500. “We have been receiving Rs 4500 as monthly remuneration since we were engaged. However, to our surprise, the authorities have been providing us with only Rs 1500 to Rs 2000 as monthly remuneration,” they added. Govt committed to provide basic amenities: Farooq Andrabi Dooru, July 4: The Minister of State for PDD, PHE, Irrigation & Flood Control and Hajj & Auqaf Syed Farooq Ahmad Andrabi today said that Government is committed to provide basic amenities to people in every nook and corner of the state. Minister was addressing a meeting convened today to review the functioning of departments under his control at town hall, Dooru, Anantnaag. The Minister directed the concerned to provide adequate drinking water supply to Shankerpora, Shan- gran and Keeran villages. He also directed PDD authorities for repairing damaged transformers of Hargavas, Kapran villages at the earliest which is pending from last 20 days. In view of Eid-ul-Fitr festival, Andrabi directed the officers to provide all facilities to people of Dooru area with regard to ration, additional sugar, flour, adequate supply of potable drinking water and electricity so that they do not face any inconvenience. He also directed the officials of Municipal Committee, Dooru to ensure cleanliness in all the wards including Kabamarg, Ziarat Ameer Kabeer road, Jamia Masjid Verinaag and Ziarat Sultan-ul-Arifeen, Sendan.
