The students are seen with and surrounded by books to encourage reading and scholarship. The class broke up into rotating groups of three to five students. The project was one of the class assignments and took nine weeks to complete. The mural measures 14 feet in width by 9 feet in height. This “in process” photograph was taken on April 29, 2014. The painting will be completed by May 13, 2014.
