This is one of the gems of the Beaumarly group, crowning one
of the most original architectural creations in the world that is
also one of the most well-known museums. «Le Georges», as
the regulars call it, is much more than just a restaurant - it is an
experience. It’s also a certain way of crossing art and design,
orchestrated by the team of Jakob + MacFarlane. A few roses

Contemporary luxury and design
The “Beau” of Beaumarly, this is it. The true flagship of the group,
the Café Beaubourg is the symbol of the group and the vision
of two pioneers of the eighties, Gilbert and Jean-Louis Costes.
The space is inspired by the great Austrian cafés, breaking the
mold and still making waves. It is the creation of Christian de
Portzamparc, an architect who has since gained international
renown, and won the prestigious Pritzker Architecture Prize.
The Café Beaubourg is a Parisian institution.

A cutting-edge concept for the Beaumarly group, the Etienne
Marcel restaurant measures change in decades, eras, centuries...
A project born from the imagination of Thierry Costes that
brought together artists such as Philippe Parreno and Pierre
Huyghe, as well as famous graphic designers M/M (Paris), the
space that opened in 2002 is like no other in Paris. Here we
are in a retro-futuristic dining hall that could be a place where
the hero of RIdley Scott’s «Blade Runner» would hang out.

The great classic, according to Beaumarly, is named Café Ruc. A
beautiful space covered in purple, the work of interior designer
Jacques Garcia, who also designed the Hôtel Costes and Matignon.
A Parisian restaurant where you can enjoy a relaxed moment with
friends or family. “It is a theater lobby,» Jacques Garcia points
out, in reference to the Comédie Française that is just across the
way. You often cross actors there, once the show has ended.

arches you’ll find the best spot to view the glass pyramid created
by Ieoh Ming Pei. The perfect mix of a Parisian brasserie and a

The renaissance of the Parisian brasserie
Café Français is the new addition to the Beaumarly group that
was opened in 2013. It breaks the mold on all the preconceived
notions and clichés about the Place de la Bastille. Café Français
offers a palette of all of Beaumarly’s talent, spacious rooms, but
also a bar and a beautiful terrace so that you can serenely take
in the Génie de la Bastille. There you will also find all of India
Mahdavi’s talent, her mixture of colors and materials, using the
colors of the French flag, while the artistic duo from M/M (Paris)
has designed a logo that plays on absolute abstraction.

An elegant and audacious ambiance
Here, all that glitters is most definitely gold. Located in Paris’s
“Golden Triangle” (between the Champs-Élysées and Avenue
Montaigne), this is a resolutely festive venue for all those with
the Midas touch. Masters of ceremony Jacques Garcia (who
decorated the restaurant) and Charles Tassin (who decorated
the club) have pulled out all the stops: the place shines “like
Versailles and Vegas,” according to Garcia. Since winter 2012,
metamorphosis has followed metamorphosis at this red-carpet
location. Featuring a dance floor with a wall of golden leather
and an orange and black carpet, “it’s all fire and flames,” says
Charles Tassin, “an enjoyable kind of hell.”

Atypical and avant-garde
Since 2009, Beaumarly has brought a wave of change to SaintGermain-des-Prés, reinventing the neighborhood with its
appropriately named Germain. This space, designed by the
great India Mahdavi, creatively uses the colors blue, yellow and
green, and mixes genres and eras. Here you might cross Jean
Dujardin’s smiling face, as you pass a table of French cinema
stars, who are particularly fond of the Germain restaurant.
Xavier Vielhan’s immense statue lends an avant-garde shine to
the space, going through the ceiling to continue upstairs, where
a billiard room awaits you...

A hectic Parisian Brewery !
Another jewel of the Beaumarly group is the Thoumieux project,
an adventure led by Thierry Costes and superstar chef JeanFrançois Piège. The brasserie Thoumieux is the rebirth of a
legendary place. It has grown, and today it is a fusion of brasserie
and gastronomical restaurant, as well as a hotel and a space
dedicated to the chef’s famous pastries! With a logo designed
by M/M (Paris) and rooms designed by the creative genius of
India Mahdavi, Thoumieux is now a must for the true Parisian
luxury experience. Sylvestre Wahid, two-star Chef of the Oustau
de Baumaniere in Baux-de-Provence and Strato in Courchevel
becomes Head Chef of Thoumieux from summer 2015.

The Chic Bar of Marais
Thierry and Gilbert Costes made a splash when they opened
a bar at the Café Français. With the assistance of designers
India Mahdavi and the M/M Studio in Paris, they unveiled this
artistically inclined brasserie last May.
The venue is the culmination of an ambitious, sophisticated
project, bringing together French excellence and neo-70s
decor – just what eastern Paris needed. The gold and blue
interior combines marble and artificially aged mirrors to create
interesting perspectives. The radically executed straight lines
are offset by soft furnishings and sumptuous materials.

never does anything like anyone else, he designed a space,
in collaboration with Nathanaël Karmitz (MK2), within the
corridors of the Germain. It is a sort of dream movie house from
the seventies, with leather furnishings and full of color, a little
bit of heaven with shades of Henri Rousseau, designed by India
Mahdavi. The Germain Paradisio is the promise of an exceptional
evening between the lucky few...
