Steven Andersen Functional Art Jeff Davison Jeff Davison turns local wood into works of art using a Powermatic lathe. Most of his hand-carved wooden bowls include a rough edge, which is the tree’s original bark, and are finished with a high gloss that highlights the natural beauty of the wood. Steven Andersen designs and builds outdoor furniture out of western red cedar. His Adirondack chairs, tables, gliders and benches would make a lovely addition to a poolside or patio. Andrea Bragg Wearable Art Mendy Marks San Francisco artist Mendy Marks creates her clean, contemporary jewelry by layering a variety of metallic shapes, colors and textures using anodized aluminum, sterling silver, gold, copper, and brass. Andrea Bragg prints her lighthearted original designs in water-based inks on 100 percent cotton T-shirts. Her charming characters and uplifting sayings will fit any casual wardrobe. Fine Art Donny Hahn Donny Hahn’s acrylic and oil paintings reflect the landscape of his native Northern California. The rolling hills and rugged coastlines will speak to any who have intimate acquaintance with the Golden State. Karen Hale’s canvases have been called dynamic, bold, explosive and exciting. She constructs her paintings with layers of thick and thin color that is washed, glazed or scum bled over textured surfaces using brushes, trowels and found objects, mixed with a variety of papers, found objects, fabric, thread and metallic leafing. The results are a delight of color and texture. Extensive gardens designed by Thomas D. Church and featured in his book “Gardens are for People (2nd Edition),” both informal and classically designed gardens are adorned with roses and a variety of annuals and perennials, which provide bright splashes of color. At the rear of the home a cloistered walk frames the expansive lawn and pool. Hexagonal paving blocks were used to define the terrace and pool edge as well as the tranquil fountain to give emphasis to this focal point. With its continuous paved walk around the periphery and ample open space, the garden readily accommodates large groups. At night, soft lighting around the pool and walk, and illuminating from within the glass walls of the main and pool house create an ambience fit for festive occasions. Spanning 3.15+/- acres, this beautiful property includes a tennis court and 14-stall stable. French architectural style main house designed by architect William Christofferson, boasts a wonderful blend of formal and casual rooms, generous room dimensions, and custom appointments. The one-level floor plan offers an open, uninterrupted flow, while walls of glass throughout provide a seamless transition to the sprawling grounds.
