FULL DAY EXCURSIONS

Bath
A full-day in the ancient city of Bath. See the interesting sights and
the stunning architecture of this unique city. Explore the city’s beautiful
streets with its fabulous selection of independent stylish boutiques and
big name high street stores.
The total duration of this trip is 11 hours. 5 hours of this is travel time.
Bristol
A full day excursion to Bristol. Visit the science museum At-Bristol
where there are hundreds of hands-on exhibits to explore, live shows
and a planetarium. Then explore the largest city in the west of England. Bristol is a vibrant city with an interesting history.
The total duration of this trip is 11 hours. 5 hours of this is travel time.
Cornwall
A full day excursion to explore the beautiful sights of Cornwall
including some of the principal towns.
The total duration of this trip is 11 hours. 5 hours is travel time.
ENGLAND | Torbay
Land’s End (Small groups only)
A full-day trip to the very end of England! Stopping at Land’s End,
Sennen Cove, Marazion (for a view of St Michael’s Mount) and the
beautiful town of St Ives famous for the Tate Gallery and the many
artists who work around the harbour area. Stout walking footwear
advisable.
The total duration of this trip is 12 hours. 5 hours of this is travel time
with two stop breaks.
Eden Project (Small groups only)
A Full-day excursion to the unique eco-experience that is the Eden Project.
Over 1,000,000 plants from all over the world are on display both outside and
inside the vast biomes that are the signature of this exhibition, including the
largest indoor rainforest in the world.
The total duration of this trip is 12 hours. 4.5 hours of this is travel
time with two stop breaks.
Plymouth and National Marine Aquarium
A full day excursion to the city of Plymouth. Visit the National Marine
Aquarium in Plymouth. Situated on the Barbican it contains more than
70 sharks and is the UK’s largest aquarium. Then discover the history of
famous sea expeditions around the world that have set off from Sutton
Harbour throughout the centuries.
The total duration of this trip is 8.5 hours. 1 hour 30 minutes is travel
time.

HALF DAY EXCURSIONS
Splashdown at Quaywest
Half-day excursion. Visit South Devon’s famous water park packed
with slides and pools. With thrilling drop slides, exciting tyre rides with
spectacular views of the English riviera, right next to Goodrington
beach, it’s a great day out for everyone.
Admission to Splashdown is included. The total duration of this trip is
4.5 hours. 10 minutes of this is travel time.
Paignton Zoo
Half-day excursion. Paignton Zoo Environmental Park is the third
largest Zoo in England with three thousand amazing animals housed
in 80 acres of natural habitat. There are 6 different habitats to walk
through including Savannah, Forest, Primley, Tropical Forest and Desert.
Admission to Paignton Zoo is included. The total duration of this trip is
4.5 hours, 15 minutes of this is travel time.
Living Coasts
Half-day excursion. Visit Living Coasts; walk with the penguins,
experience seals and various other forms of sea-life, birds and plants in
their specially designed natural habitats. There is plenty to see and do
with outdoor and indoor exhibits to explore.

Half-day excursion. Visit the famous prehistoric caves at Kents Cavern,
where humans lived over half a million years ago and natural stalactites
and stalagmites can be seen.

Exeter
Half-day excursion. A visit to the beautiful city of Exeter sightseeing and shopping. Devon’s county city dates back to Roman times
and has many great landmarks, including Rougemont Castle and the
magnificent St Peter’s Cathedral.

this is travel time.
Dartmouth
Half-day excursion. An excursion to Devon’s maritime town of
Dartmouth set at the mouth of the River Dart in the heart of the
beautiful South Hams.
The total duration of this trip is 4.5 hours. 45 minutes of this is travel
time.
Dartmoor
Half-day excursion. Visit Dartmoor National Park set in a thousand
square miles of natural beauty. There is also a visit to the village of
Widecombe-in-the-Moor.

Brixham by Boat
Half-day excursion. A trip to Brixham by boat. Brixham is a historical
port world famous for its fishing. Attractions include the Golden Hind
– the ship of Sir Francis Drake, and Berry Head with its Napoleonic Forts
and stunning views across Torbay.
The total duration of this trip is 4.5 hours. 1 hour of this will be time
on the boat.

Battlefield Live
Half-day excursion. Experience the exciting infrared combat game
set on a purpose-built three acre site. Includes games and equipment.
Bring long trousers and good footwear.

Woodlands Adventure Park
A half-day visit to Woodlands Adventure Park, home of the UK’s
biggest indoor adventure centre, with five floors of indoor frenzy rides
& thrills as well as outdoor adventures, including watercoasters, a zoo,
farm, falconry centre and wildlife sanctuary. All-weather fun guaranteed for all.
Admission to Woodlands is included. The total duration of this trip is
4.5 hours. 1 hour of this is travel time.
Pirate Golf
A half-day visit to challenge your friends to see who can the best score
on this pirate themed crazy golf course.
Admission is included. The total duration of this trip is 4.5 hours. 15

Mackerel Fishing
Half day: Head out into the Bay on our well-equipped sea fishing
boat to catch mackerel. Bring a bag if you want to take any home to
your host.

Half-day excursion. A trip to the Apollo Cinema on Paignton seafront
to see a recent blockbuster. There are plenty of snacks to enjoy while
watching your film including popcorn, sweets and locally produced ice
cream.

Bowling
Half-day excursion. Test your ten-pin bowling skills at the AMF Bowl
in Torquay, followed by a trip into the town centre for exploring and
shopping.

China Blue & Dartington (Small groups only)
A trip to China Blue for a chance to decorate your own pottery and
then on to Dartington to visit the Hall and its gardens.
We will collect your pottery next week after it has been fired and
glazed for you.
1 mug or plate for you to decorate as you wish is included. The total
duration of this trip is 4.5 hours. 35 minutes of this is travel time.
Ice Skating (Small groups only)
Try your skill at ice skating at Plymouth Pavilions indoor ice rink.
The total duration of this trip is 3.5 hours. 1 hour of this is travel time.

Tennis, Table Tennis, Football tournament, Pool competition, Cricket ,

Photo Challenge ‘Something’ and ‘Shoot to Thrill’
(Small groups only)
In teams you’ll compete against each other in two exciting challenges.
For ‘Something’ you will need to photograph each item described on
the sheet provided. For ‘Shoot to Thrill’ you will need to find or created
what is described.
Photo Portraits ‘Mini Me’ (Small groups only)
With the help of our expert staff take fantastic and original portraits
of each other. Once we’ve taken the photos we’ll assemble them into
mini characters.
Photo Scavenger Hunt ‘Snap’ (Small groups only)
In teams, following a set route, recreate the photos on the sheet you
are given. There are points for each ‘snap’ as well as extra points for an
exact match.
