FEATURING:
Welcome to the Altadena Library
and Our Latino Cultural Festival – Enjoy!
Altadena’s cultural heritage is as rich as it is diverse:
a universal acceptance that each individual is unique.
For example, our Latino community has increased to
over 30% of Altadena’s population. The pure joy of
celebrating all our cultures through books, music, art,
performances, programs and classes is alive at the Altadena Library –
come see for yourself.
Service Above Self
Since 1933, Planned Parenthood
Pasadena and San Gabriel Valley
(PPPSGV) has ensured broad public
access to reproductive health care
and family planning through medical
services, education, and advocacy.
The Altadena Library has become a vibrant hub of our community –
a connection point. See all that your Library has to offer – programs for
children, teens and adults as well as offering a space for all to gather and
relax. We have added lots of new books, movies and music to our collection
and even have a selection of eBooks & audio books you can download
from home.
We also host programs that get you moving – such as today’s festival and
our monthly Second Saturday events with music and dancing – join us!
When you see me around the Festival please come and introduce yourself!
I want to thank the Board of Trustees, Staff, Library Foundation, Friends
of the Library and the Community for their support and dedication to the
Altadena Library District.
