Frazer Public School
The Fort Belknap Indian Community, Tribal Water Resources will receive sealed bids until 2:00
PM local time on September 7, 2016 for the Fort Belknap Main Canal A Underdrain Rehabilitation
project at the office of the Fort Belknap Tribal Community located at 656 Agency Main Street,
Harlem, MT 59526 ATTN: Kristal Fox, Administrator. The bids will be publicly opened and read
aloud at the office of the Fort Belknap Tribal Community at 02:30 PM local time on September
7, 2016. The project consists of: a general contract for the improvement of approximately 64
lineal feet of the Main Canal A Underdrain with approximately 64 lineal feet of 60-inch diameter
galvanized CMP pipeline installation, installation of a concrete head-wall and concrete foot-wall,
site grading, excavation and shaping of the D-3 Wasteway, and grading of maintenance road.
Backfill for the 64 lineal feet of the proposed new 60-inch diameter galvanized CMP pipeline
will be required with native soil material. Other items include removal and replacement of approximately 53 lineal feet of an existing 18-inch CMP culvert, clearing and grubbing, and site
dewatering. For bank stablization, 100 cubic yards of rock riprap will be required at the outlet
transition of the new CMP to the D-3 Wasteway. A 4-foot square trash-rack will be required to be
installed at the inlet to the 60-inch diameter galvanized CMP pipeline on the concrete headwall.
The Main Canal A Underdrain, which is located in Blaine County near Harlem, Montana, is owned
by the Department of the Interior – Bureau of Indian Affairs and operated by the Fort Belknap
Tribal Water Resources Department. The contract documents, consisting of a set of Drawings
and a Project Manual, are available for review at: The Fort Belknap Tribal Water Resource

thought they saw a vehicle from
the Amber alert. An officer will
stop by Reynolds and talk with
them. The officer advised this was
not the same vehicle.
1853 A female reported a white
semi that was over the white line
and doing well over 65 mph.
The semi had a flatbed trailer
and a dump box. Its plate was
unknown. She was willing to sign
a complaint.
2210 A male reported they
were setting off fireworks on top
of Old Smokey and started a fire.
LRFD and NFD were paged.
The fire was put out and trucks
returned to the barns.
2223 A female reported someone had hit a cow on Hwy. 24
S between MM 60 and 61. The
cow was in the road, but the
caller didn’t know if it was still
alive. At 2240, a male called to
report he had hit a cow with his
tan Chevy Uplander. Another
man was notified to go check out
the cow. It was not necessary to
notify the HP because the vehicle
just ran over the cow’s nose. He
didn’t know if there was damage
to his vehicle.

0129 A woman was cited for
careless driving and was in the
ditch at 5th Ave. N and Highland
Dr.
0923 A female called in to
complain about a dog that barked
non-stop on 1st St. N., Glasgow.
1044 A male requested a VIN
inspection.
1645 A male reported a UPS
driver not waiting for the pilot cars
and going over the speed limit. He
was last seen headed northbound
and turned onto South River Rd.
The caller just wanted the driver
talked to, but if it continued, they
would sign a complaint.
1750 A male reported a combine on fire 7 miles north of
Nashua on North Nashua Rd.
and 2 miles east on Bauer Rd.
An officer was unable to locate
any fires.
1914 An officer reported that
a vehicle was not at the house
on Hillside Dr., Glasgow. The
caller said he was in Whitefish.
His mother-in-law stopped by
the house and told him his red
2014 GMC Sierra was gone. He
called to let GPD know that Milt
Hallock had picked it up to fix the
hail damage.

located the vehicle and observed
it for a while, but all seemed to
be fine.
0238 A caller reported a dog
barking for a long time on Kampfer Dr., Glasgow. It sounded like a
large dog. The officer was unable
to locate the dog.
0838 A male caller reported a
camper with a flat tire stopped at
the blind spot near Will Lauckners. He was concerned with the
amount of northbound traffic that
this vehicle could get hit.
0848 A driver’s license was
dropped off for a woman who
was the manager of Town Pump.
Later another woman picked it
up for her.
1000 A female reported that
someone threw a rock through
her vehicle window. An officer
was advised.
1035 A female reported a portion of fence line down (driven
through) between the 67 and 68
MM near Kenny Dasher’s.
1043 A male came in to report
a complaint of identity theft to a
deputy.
1055 A female called in about
a person being involved in a
two-vehicle accident yesterday.
She lives at St. Marie and is still
driving on Texas plates.
1459 A female caller reported
a cat that has been hit and is flopping all over the road. An officer
went to check it out, but was unable to locate it on the road or at
Aces & 8’s.
1938 An officer reported following a semi that was about to
lose a hay bale. He got it stopped
on the west side of the spillway.
Someone will come with a tractor
and loader to move the bale so the
subject can be on his way.
2305 A female reported there
was a male subject wearing a
white coat, dark pants standing by
the stop sign at Riverside Dr. and
US Hwy. 2. A deputy advised he
spoke with this individual 35-40
minutes ago and it was a female
who was out walking. She was
okay.
