The system is moved to the place to set up, and it will be submerged.
General issue
1.The target area differs in accordance with the state of pollution, in- and outflow and the other related condition of the aquatic
system. Please consult beforehand.
2.Water can be sprayed from two points by using the delivery hose with ca. 20m, and the pond water can be circulated.
3.The backwash pump is equipped with the system. Run is controlled by the control box.
4.Control box is set up nearest above-ground , and the three-phase circuit 200 volt electricity is employed.
5.We suggest you to employ two or more systems for a large water body.
6.Maintenance is carried out once or twice per year.
7.The management of the water quality (measurement and analysis, etc.) will be carried out on your demand.
Attention
1.The water quality and the transparency attained change. The degree of the effect of water treatment
depends on the seasons, weather and the amount of the organic compounds existed. In some cases algal
growth can be observed at the initiation of water treatment. You need not worry about this phenomenon
as it is a sort of natural sequence in water purification.
2.In the treatment with the biofilm the transparency is gradually increasing with recovery from eutrophication.
The increase in transparency processed gradually.
3.It might happen that mud can be circulated from the sediment in a shallow pond. By adjustment of flow rate
this can be controlled.
4.Required time to recover the state of water quality to the state aimed differs by weather condition, and
the load of highly polluted water. Additional time might be required to recover when water treatment is
carried out under the high-loaded condition.
5.The particles of low gravity are often contained in the suspended materials. It may influence transparency.
The recovery of transparency is processed with decreasing of the organic matter and sedimentation of small
particles.
6.The specification of product can be modified.

The method employed to purify polluted water is based on the
principle of gravel aerobic biofilm decomposition method.
In the employed method biofilm is constructed on the surface of a
special small plastic bottle instead of stone.
The organic matter caused by pollution is decomposed by the
function of bacteria, and water circulation in the pond is accelerated
by the treatment system to restore endemic nature in water.
【Advantage 1】 Improvement of water quality from eutrophication of the pond.
【Advantage 3】 Promote biological diversity.
Organic materials being a cause of pollution can bring up numerous lives through the
restoration of ecosystem carried out by the function of food chain which starts from
activation of the bacteria in biofilm.
1.The microbial food chain starts from the degradation activity of bacteria in the biofilm constructed on the
surface of small plastic bottles. A bacterial group of Cytophaga-Flavobacterium which is known to degrade
large molecules is found as one of the major constituents of the biofilm. This is a great advantage of the
system employed, which is probably given by the chemical characteristics of the plastic bottles employed.
2.Daphnia are found in the treated water. The number of small fishes and shrimps increases, and kingfishers
are occasionally seen. The activation of the pond enhances biological diversity.
Water purification of the eutrophicated pond is gradually processed, which leads more transparent
water with natural fragrance.
1.The eutrophicated water treatment by bacteria initiates from the aerobic degradation of the dissolved
organic compounds. Improvement progresses gradually although the effect doesn’t appear soon .
2.Circulating flow generated by the treatment, system can prevent oxygen deficiency at the bottom and elution
of the nutrients from the sediment in a pond with 1.0-1.5m deep.
3.A few ten thousands plastic small bottles, which have been employed for waste water
treatment system for industries and houses, are employed for the aerobic biofilm
decomposition as media on which microbial mat is formed.

will be achieved in urban area.
Our treatment system carries out not only decomposition of organic compounds but circulates
treated water which prevents the formation of anoxic bottom water which might spread odor.
Thus the system can control algal bloom of cyanobacteria in a given pond.
The kingfisher appears, too.
1.Reducing the abundance of cyanobacterial bloom improves the scenery of the waterside together with the
improvment of the water quality. Cyanobacteria are known to produce hepatotoxin which might affect
human health.
2.Degradation of cyanobacteria is gradually carried out through the food chain existed in a given ecosystem.
