Twelve Reasons your business should invest in the Tinker and the Primes

As the largest combined aerospace and government contracting event in Oklahoma, Tinker and the Primes
offers an opportunity to promote our community and your business on a scale that has not been locally
available in the past.
On the local, state and national levels, Tinker and the Primes promotes our community’s image as a
globally significant business center and encourages businesses to locate and invest here.
In 2008, the Tinker and the Primes marketing campaign will represent our community at targeted state
wide and national tradeshow/conference events with a total attendance of approximately 7,500. With your
support, we can reach out to more strategically targeted events and thousands more attendees in 2009.
More than 13,000 Tinker and the Primes printed promotional or informational pieces will be mailed to
target organizations across the US in 2008. Many of these organizations have never thought of our
community as a center for business development and economic growth until now.
`We currently maintain a list of more than 8,000 individuals in our national target marketing database. We
will send a total of 150,000 – 200,000 individual emails to this audience of key decision makers and
influential persons in 2008.
Our nationwide constituency will visit the www.TinkerandthePrimes.com web site an estimated 24,000
times in 2008. This is a unique opportunity to promote local assets to businesses that have never
experienced our community.
Our eight minute promotional video at www.TinkerandthePrimes.com will be viewed an estimated 1,000
times this year. This is often the first visual opportunity we have to impress out-of-state viewers.
Tinker and the Primes is a means for our community to deepen its positive relationships with the
Pentagon. Sue Payton, Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition, is the 2008 Keynote Luncheon
speaker. 2008 will be the third year that the Pentagon has supported Tinker and the Primes with a keynote
luncheon speaker.
For many of our out-of-state attendees, Tinker and the Primes is their first reason to visit our community.
There are contractors who visit Tinker AFB, yet do not learn about the community “outside the gate” until
they experience it at Tinker and the Primes.
This event is not exclusively targeted to aerospace related businesses. Our contractor matchmaking
sessions include procurement officials seeking vendors for a variety of non-military goods and services.
We anticipate 300 - 400 out-of-area guests will attend Tinker and the Primes over a three day period. This
boasts dividends for restaurants, hotels, stores and other businesses that choose to connect with the
Tinker and the Primes marketing opportunity.
The overall local expenditures associated with Tinker and the Primes, its producers, exhibitors and
attendees could well exceed $150,000. Using conservative multipliers, this could result in an annual
economic impact of $250,000 or more.
The Tinker and the Primes National Business Event contributes to the local economy and promotes our
national image as a globally significant business center. May we count on your support for this valuable and
vital mission???
