● the only protected area in the land of Trnava - Protected Area Trnava
● the rest of the original soft riparian forest at the area of ​4 hectares
Ponds declared protected in 1974, for protection of waterfowl
and aquatic biocenosis, for scientific, research and educational goals
● regional bio-centre - eco-stability element in deforested, intensively
used agricultural landscape
● territory of rare diversity of habitats - ponds with crops of bat, reed
and tall sedge, wetlands, riparian forest, young tree species in
successional development, poplar monoculture, diversity of species
● gene fund birds locations - an important nesting area for rare
