Change Their World
Change Our World
Think back to your childhood and think about someone who was there for you – in your corner.
Someone who was always ready to support, encourage and give advice. Who was there to pick you up when
you stumbled and cheer you on when you triumphed?
Unfortunately, when hundreds of children living in our community look over their shoulder, there is often
no one there.
That is why our one-to-one mentoring programs are so critical and needed. Our Big Brothers and Sisters fill
that empty corner in a Little’s life. They help them see that the world they are living in now doesn’t have to
be their world tomorrow.
When our Littles know they have someone standing in their corner, it changes their life. For many, it means
achieving the honor roll for the very first time. For others, it is learning career options their parent(s) never
had. For some it means learning how to get along with others in their world of today that will enrich their
social circle in their world of tomorrow.
We wouldn’t be able to put a single mentor in a child’s life if it weren’t for all of the volunteers, community
partners and donors we have in our corner. Because of their willingness to help,
we are able to change the world for hundreds of Littles every year.
Thank you for being a part of this life changing world!
