LAU OPENING CEREMONY
The LAU establishment has opened its doors to the excited Kidizens of our great city. The opening took
place yesterday, March 10, 2014, in a glorious ceremony attended by LAU’s president Dr. Jabra and
the Chairman of Kidz Holding S.A.L, Mr. Ali Kazma. Dr. Jabra was very excited about the partnership
with KidzMondo, stating that “when we make education enjoyable and entertaining, children will
definitely succeed!

LE CHAT SIGNING
CEREMONY
KidzMondo and Le Chat are proud to embark on a collaborative journey together in KidzMondo, the
revolutionary edutainment park for kids.
Growing up, children depend on their parents to do everything for them: from tidying their room to
doing their laundry. There comes a point when children have to learn to do these tasks themselves. One
of the most obvious signs that children have become responsible is if they can do their own laundry. If
they start practicing from an early age, the habit grows with them and becomes second nature by the
time they have to live by themselves.
With Henkel and “Le Chat” at KidzMondo, Kidz will learn the 5 steps of doing the laundry: how to sort
laundry by color, how to use soap, how to activate the laundry machine and know when clothes have
dried, and finally how to fold items and arrange them in the closet.

OUMEN NOUR EVENT
KidzMondo will be supporting Oumen Nour association in its 2014
awareness campaign targeting all schools in Lebanon.

‫ ي‬is the slogan and title of the encyclopedia
that the association will be selling to all students and parents. Moreover
flyers will be distributed to all students in all private and public schools
all over Lebanon to support this campaign and they will be offering
gifts with each purchased encyclopedia to encourage and increase the
sales. In addition they will be conducting a competition between all
schools and winners will also have gifts.
KidzMondo will be offering a 20% discount on child entry tickets to
KidzMondo with each purchased encyclopedia and 100 complimentary
child entry tickets for the schools competition.
A special “discounted ticket” design will be printed for this purpose.
On the other hand, a special event to launch this campaign will be held
in KidzMondo on April 14, 2014.

PARADE AT
ZAITUNAY BAY
Kozmo, Ëena, Dogzilla and Leeloo along with the KidzMondo artistic team joined Zaitunay Bay visitors
on Saturday and Sunday the 15th and 16th of March to perform a parade. As the music played the
characters and team passed by all shops and distributed flyers inviting moms to visit KidzMondo next
weekend free of charge for Mothers’ day.

TEACHER'S DAY
All teachers were entitled to a free entrance to KidzMondo city from the 1st of
March till the 10th of March. Teachers just loved this offer!
ALPHABET'S DAY
The Alphabet Day is the day that changed the world and
made communication easier!

MOMS & KIDZ FASHION
SHOW
A fashion show for kidizens and their moms was done on
March 21, 22 and 23 at the Dancing K Plaza where participants
modeled on the catwalk with their moms and got a chance to
win lots of prizes from GS Junior and Le Chat.
USEK CHILDREN'S DAY VISIT
On the occasion of Children’s Day, a group of USEK officials invited 5
children who suffer from cancer to KidzMondo. They spent the day at
the city learning and performing activities in different establishments.

GS JUNIOR SPRING 2014
FASHION SHOW
GS Junior showcased its spring 2014 collection in a fashion show held at KidzMondo on March 28.
Daniella Rahme presented the contestants in a fun and exciting environment.
Kids took the catwalk with different outfits from the GS Junior Spring collection in front of a crowd and many
media outlets that were present.

LAU OPENING
KidzMondo University is where kids will earn their
bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD degree after successfully
completing the educational curriculum. When they
graduate, they will proceed to work at one of the
KidzMondo establishments related to their major. As
in real life, the higher the degree they earn, the higher
their income will be.
Kids can choose to specialize in one of the four majors available at the university: Audio Visual, Financial
Management, Medicine, and, finally, Humanities and Social Studies. When they complete their studies,
they will earn a diploma in one of the fields they have chosen.
While at university, they will learn to define and use many terms that are specific to their domain.
Once they have graduated, they can benefit from their diploma by working at one of the KidzMondo
establishments and earning Kidlars.

CROSS PROMOTION
An in store and online promotion was done with Dunkin
Donuts on Mother’s Day and have the 1st 50 mothers win
each a Free Kid’s Ticket to KidzMondo.
The mother came with her child to any Dunkin Donuts branch
on March 21 & 22, took a photo and shared it on Facebook.
The first 50 mothers win each a free child entry ticket to
KidzMondo.

INDUCTION TRAINING
On the 19th of March an induction training in KidzMondo Beirut was held for Mr. Zaher Chehayeb and
Mr. Serkan Tezsay who joined the KM family. Mr. Chehayeb joined as the Director of Sponsorship and
Sales of KidzMondo Abu Dhabi and Mr. Tezsay joined as the Airport Manager of KidzMondo Istanbul.
We wish Zaher and Serkan all the best in this new challenge.

L.A.N.D FOR HOPE
L.A.N.D(Lebanese Association for Neuromuscular Diseases)-WWW.
LANDFORHOPE.ORG each year creates an awareness campaign in
Lebanon for the International Rare Disease Day on February 28th
of each year. This year they partnered up with Kidzmondo and
created a fun play day for children challenged with a rare disease
and invited their parents as well to connect and share with other
parents caring for a child conditioned with a rare disease.
Rare Disease Day 2014 focused on care and encouraged everyone
in the rare disease community to join together for better care.
Rare Disease Day took place on February 28th this year, but
activities were celebrated throughout the month of February.

MOHAMAD EL HOUT VISIT
On March 20, 2014, the chairman of MEA, Mr. Mohammad El Hout attended a ceremony held in his
honor at the edutainment city of KidzMondo located on the Beirut waterfront.
The honorary ceremony was attended by a group of journalists, and the remarkable executive staff of
the Middle East Airlines was also present. Along with a number of KidzMondo and Kidz Holding S.A.L
staff, Kazma greeted the guests at the KidzMondo International Airport.
El Hout and his staff walked into the city which extends over an area of 10,300m2. He visited the different
establishments and sections and stopped at KidzMondo’s MEA airplane located at the entrance of the
city.
El Hout stressed the significance of this project and praised the concept’s innovation and uniqueness in
Lebanon and the region. El Hout regarded KidzMondo as a place that combines aspects of Lebanon’s
multifaceted identity, be it cultural, educational, or touristic.
Recognizing MEA’s unfailing support throughout the project, Ali Kazma, the chairman of Kidz Holding
S.A.L, offered El Hout the key to the city as a symbol of his gratitude.
