At “Let’s Make a Mess”,
these children are

activity which facilitates
exploration and naturally
encourages children to use
scientific processes while
they play, investigate and
explore.

With this sensory program, we
provide the unique sensory
experiences and clean up the mess.
Please dress your child in appropriate
clothing.

You may want to use your hands.
When OOBLECK is just right, slowly add
food colouring.
Things to do with OOBLECK
Grab a handful and squeeze it. Let it
ooze through your fingers.
Make a puddle and quickly drag your
fingers through it.
Roll some OOBLECK into a ball. It
becomes solid but when you stop moving
it, it will melt back into your hand.
Store in an air-tight container.
With this sensory experience, children
may learn about the different physical
properties of solids and liquids which will
enhance their cognitive skills (math).

“Play and Learn”
Parents help their children
learn through play. Activities
involving free play with books,
toys, puzzles and large motor
activities all happen in our
gym.
Snack time and an interactive
circle time are also an
important part of this program.
In the gym, for our “Play and
Learn” program, this child is
developing her gross motor skills
and hand/eye coordination by
climbing up the stairs and sliding
down.

of one another. Sharing

challenges of parenting
is a great way to offer
support to one another.

August 8 and 9, 2015
45 minutes west of Grande Prairie, The Hythe Motor Speed Way, is one of
only four paved race tracks in Alberta. It draws many spectator and fans
from all over. Come experience the speed and excitement of the
Speedway! Bring your ear plugs.

Country Road R.V Corn Maze
Weather permitting the maze will open the second week of August.
Prepare to get lost for 1-2 hours in the maze. But do not fret….you will find
