The card is equipped with opto couplers and IC’s to ensure the PC doesn’t get damaged in case a mistake has made. If a mistake has made, only the opto couplers or ic’s of the Printer Port Interface 1.1 will be damaged. These components are low cost and easily replaced. The features: 1. Connect the 8 Printer Port Databus outputs to Stepper Motor STEP/DIR Control inputs using TTL buffering 2. Connect the 5 Printer Port Control input lines to the End Switches and Emergency Stop Switch using optocouplers 3. Connect the 4 Printer Port Control line outputs to Relais outputs using 12 (or 24) volt relais driver The card is compatible with most CNC controller software like: - Mach2 Mach3 PC-NC Turbo CNC CNCprofi DINCNC EMC Kcam The Card supports 4 stepper motor (or Step/Dir servos) outputs, with 4 end switch inputs, one Emergency Stop input and 4 12 volt relais outputs. You can connect to your printerport using the SubD Female connector, or a ribbon connector. The card has LEDS for all 3 power voltages, and LED outputs for the Spindle ON/OFF output and the 4 End Switch inputs. The Relais outputs current can be doubled for use of extra big relays or electromagnets. For people who have homebuilt stepper drivercards or other printerport applications a 10 pin header with all STEP/DIR outputs and VCC/GND is provided (printerport databus output). In event of an broken cable, the system will see a loss of signal and will react to it. 1. One switch. Connected as a normaly closed circuit. Use the normaly close (NC) contacts when the switch are triggert at the switching point. Use the normaly open (NO) contacts when the switch is triggered constantly and will be released at the switching point. 2. Two switches. Connected as a normaly closed circuit. 3. One switch.
