If you are planning to stay at the Sheraton Hotel
Arrangements have been made to take you directly to HEC Montréal in the morning. Two buses will depart from the hotel each morning. On the first day of the conference, they will leave at 8 am to allow time for registration. On the second day, the buses will leave at 8:15 am.
If you prefer to take a cab
Taxis can be hailed directly on the street. Ask the driver to take you to 3000 Côte‐Ste‐Catherine. It should cost 15‐20 $ CAN for a ride from downtown (a 10‐15% tip is usually expected)
How to get to and from HEC Montréal by Metro
Montréal has a modern and safe subway system called “the Metro” (right). HEC Montréal is a one min. walk from the Université de Montréal station, on the blue line. Take the Édouard‐Montpetit exit, cross the boulevard in front of you, then the street to your left (Louis‐Collin), and you will see the HEC Montréal entrance on your right on Louis‐Collin.
If you are staying the Sheraton, the closest metro station is Peel (green line). You will need to transfer to the orange line at Lionel‐Groulx, then transfer again to the blue line at Snowdon.
The regular fare is 2,75 $ CAN for a one way ticket to any destination on the island of Montréal (including transfers). You can also buy a set of six tickets for 12$, or a 1 or 3 day tourist card. http://www.stcum.qc.ca/English/info/a‐tarif.htm

How to get to and from HEC Montréal by bus (public transit)
HEC Montréal is close to three bus lines :
Line 129, Côte Ste‐Catherine (in yellow on the map): stops at Place‐des‐Arts metro station (orange line) in downtown Montréal, and leaves you right in front of HEC Montréal http://www.stcum.qc.ca/English/bus/planibus/129.pdf
Line 51, Édouard‐Montpetit (in black on the map): stops at the Laurier metro station (orange line) near the “Plateau Mont‐Royal”

How to get to and from HEC Montréal by car
HEC Montréal is located at 3000, Côte‐Ste‐Catherine, right in the middle of the island of Montréal. Depending on traffic conditions, it is a 10 to 20 min. drive from downtown Montréal. You will, however, have to go around the Mount Royal mountain. From the west side (the easiest route if you are staying at a downtown hotel), take the Côte‐des‐Neiges boulevard or Guy street (in green on the map). It crosses Sherbrooke steet, one of the downtown main artery (in black). Turn right on Côte‐Ste‐Catherine (in red) and you will see HEC Montréal on your right side, a few blocks away. An underground parking is available (12$ CAN per day).
