ART WEEK
Dear Parents/Caregivers,
Creativity is alive and well at Windsor North - some absolutely wonderful ‘works of art’ have been created this term. Art
Week has been a wonderful way to end a very busy term - and a most successful one. In the last month Windsor North
children have enjoyed considerable success in ICAS exams, the Southland Science Fair, the Tri Nations sports competition
and the Southland Speech competition. Congratulations to all involved - you can all be very proud of your efforts.
We look forward to another busy term ahead with a Technology inquiry, swimming, a visit from the Education Review office
(ERO), and the upcoming Art Auction. In the meantime have a very safe and enjoyable holiday with your families.

PTA BAKE SALE
The PTA are holding a Bake Sale fundraiser as part of the Windsor Bonanza Day on Saturday October 17th. The PTA will be
sending a notice home in the first week of next term asking families to please donate an item to be sold at the bake
sale. We are always amazed by the generosity of the school community and in the past we have had cakes, loaves, muffins,
sweets, slices and biscuits. It would be much appreciated if these items could be dropped in to the school office on Friday
October 16th by 3pm. Thank you, WNS PTA
