A wide range of tempting sweet
pleasures delighting the palate.
Fraccaro Pasticceria offers healthy
and traditional recipes. All products
undergo a natural leavening process
and are enriched by icings, chocolate
chips, sultana raisins and delicious
fillings. Only few simple ingredients
are used but the processing is difficult
and delicate. The meticulous selection
of excellent raw materials, the creation
of tastes and shapes, the expertise and
know-how of our bakers... this is the
secret behind Fraccaro products which
are always soft, genuine and tasty.

More than 80 years of passion
Keeping ancient traditions alive
Fraccaro Dolciaria was set up in 1932, when Elena
and Giovanni Fraccaro established a bakery within
the town walls of Castelfranco Veneto, thus starting
a confectionery tradition with a promising future.
A special ingredient: sourdough.
It is a compound resulting from the natural
fermentation of flour and water. It contains
microorganisms which process sugars into carbon
dioxide thus enabling the leavening of the dough.
Sourdough improves the quality of end products
thanks to its properties: the organoleptic qualities of the
product are kept for a longer time, including Fragrance,
Besides producing good bread, the bakery also gained
a reputation for its well-known confectionery specialties.
Following the success of the first bakery, shortly after
the war, a second bakery was opened in Borgo Pieve.
It specialised in the production of fragrant focaccias (flat

breads), panettones and plum cakes. The expertise and
care applied during the production process were key
ingredients for success and they still are today. Despite
the introduction of an industrial production, the same
artisanal principles are applied thus preserving the
same atmosphere and the same baking aromas of the
beginning, when Fraccaro was a small family business.
Taste and Aromas; products are more naturally soft and
more digestible. The production process with sourdough
and the preservation of the natural yeast are more
complex, which is why they were gradually abandoned
over time. Nevertheless, since 1932, the Fraccaro
family keeps the tradition alive with enthusiasm and
determination.
