By: Department of Fisheries Malaysia Introduction Putrajaya Lake is an artificial lake created by inundating the valleys of Sungai Chuau and Sungai Bisa The lake construction was completed in 2002 with a total area of 400ha. The fisheries resource of the lake is managed by the Perbadanan Putrajaya with the assistance of the Department of Fisheries Malaysia. The roles of the Department of Fisheries Malaysia include providing technical advice, supplying fish seedlings for public restocking and conduct fisheries resource survey of the lake.
