I grew up in the small community of Colt, Arkansas, and in 1998, I graduated from Wynne High School. I attended Arkansas State University shortly after graduating high school, and I earned my Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering. After receiving
my Bachelor’s degree, I built my first home at the age of 23 in 2003, and since then, I have built over 70 quality homes.
With a passion of learning, I went on to earn my Master’s in Business Administration in 2005 and my Master’s in Engineering Management in 2008.
Over the course of my career as a builder, I have developed a tremendous amount of skills that have helped me as an
entrepreneur. The finished product is not the only important aspect of my job; the satisfaction of my customers and my
relationship with them is my number one priority.
Building or purchasing a home is one of the greatest investments that someone can make, and it can be a very timid process. I feel that, as a contractor, I have a talent for taking people’s plans and visions and making them come to life.
I am experienced with modifying house plans to meet my client’s specific needs, and I am extremely involved with the
entire process of getting someone into their new home. My experience and education as a Civil Engineer gives me an
advantage in understanding not only the structural integrity of a home but also how the elements, such as rainfall and
elevation changes, play a role.
I stand behind everything I do, and when I finish a job, I am proud to have my name associated with that project.
I recently branched out into land development; this allows me to better control the quality of homes in an entire neighborhood. A business partner and I are currently in the process of developing our second phase of Merrell Estates Subdivision,
which is part of a 130+ lot development in Valley View.
I recently finished a subdivision, Abigail Crossing, in Valley View, and I am undergoing another project called Gabriel
Crossing, which is in the vicinity of the new NEA Baptist Hospital.
I have a beautiful family who includes my wife, Sarah, and my two children, Gabriel and Abigail. We are expecting our
third child, Jude, in mid-October of this year.
Growing up, my parent’s instilled a strong sense of family values, as well as
moral standards, which has helped me throughout the years and has gotten me to
where I am today. I am a Christian, and my family and I are members of Central
Baptist Church.
