The facilities are sorted by island. An overview of the facility and contact information are provided. This directory is limited to facilities based on their size, seating capacity, availability, and track record for holding outstanding events. More information is available in the directory on page 20. 6 O‘AHU Aloha Stadium Venue size: 104 acres Fields/Courts: 1 Seats: 50,000 Parking: 8,109 Aloha Stadium is the largest multi-purpose stadium in Hawai‘i. It is able to seat up to 50,000 spectators. The stadium is host to the University of Hawai‘i Warriors football team, the NFL Pro Bowl and has also hosted events such as MLB baseball games and MLS soccer games. The park is spread over 269 acres and has extensive lighting, which allows games to be held day or night. Each section is also wired to allow games to be televised. With the space and state-of-the-art facilities, this park is a real gem for hosting a tournament of any size. With ten tennis courts and one stadium size court, it is capable of putting on tennis tournaments of any size. These courts are run by the City and County of Honolulu and are open to the public. Probably most notable as the finish line of the Honolulu Marathon, it has also been host to the AYSO Kirk Bank Tournament, international rugby tournaments and more. Blaisdell Center Seats: 8,800 Parking: 2,000 The multi-purpose arena is a circular performance facility, which can seat up to 8,800 people for certain events. This venue has hosted many events such as indoor football, basketball, concerts, graduations and much more. With 20 fields and one stadium that has 5,000 seats, it has been host to tournaments such as the Far West Regional Tournament, AYSO Western Regional Tournament and is the host facility for all University of Hawai‘i women's soccer games in the WAC. Lace up your shoes and hit the ball on one of their eight tennis courts. If you get too hot, you can jump into its Olympic size swimming pool. A vast array of well maintained fields and facilities make this venue a serious contender for your next sporting event. There is also a NFAA-approved marked 2-D walkthrough course with 28 animal targets ranging from 10 to 60 yards. This facility is host to the 8th annual Hawai‘i State Animal Round Tournament. WEATHER TRANSPORTATION The weather is fantastic year-round in Hawai‘i, with an average high of about 80° F. Although cooler and wetter in the winter, the weather is still ideal. Hawai‘i sports facilities are operational throughout the year. Only a five-hour flight from the West Coast, Hawai‘i hosts over 6 million visitors a year and is serviced by all major airlines.
