The council is a group of Seniors who meet to be the
voice of seniors at the MCCFS. They strive to promote
socialization throughout the year with special events and
celebrations. The group holds fundraisers to put on
events and donates money to Senior Programs at the
center for those in need.
We are excited to announce that the MCCFS has
partnered with the Bonnie Longaberger Senior Center in
Dresden.
The center is open Monday through Friday from
9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. They offer various activities
and lunch daily. Lunch is provided by the MCCFS
and is served at 11:30 with a reservation. The center’s activities include line dancing, cards, grocery
Bingo, monthly birthday parties, and many more.
Site Council has been reviewing and updating “MCCFS Site
Council By Laws” that will apply to both sites.
The next MCCFS Site Council meeting will be
held on Monday, August 1st at 9:30 AM.
The monthly birthday parties are now being held on
the third Thursday of the month.
We are looking forward to the move to our new
Center and can’t wait for all that is to come!
