Ireland, Newcastle, Rose Bud Butter Jar, Rose Trade Mark. This early jar from New South Wales is one of very few known. Complete with the Rose Bud trade mark, this is a stand out piece for the astute collector of both jars and general household items. We bring you this jar from the Wayne Harris collection. Longmore’s Gold Medal Perfection Cherry T This is the STAR lot of the auction, one of the best po super rare Longmore’s variation in red and green pri fully green print Victory Manufacturing Co. As a disc have piece, it has everything going for it, from mult supreme rarity. We have never seen one of these sel chance! 230. J. Mcgee & Co, Melbourne, impressed salt glaze Whiskey Jug. This superb piece is one of only two known, the other being featured in Ken Arnold’s Old Bottles book. This has large incised lettering to the front, which is coloured light grey/blue under the glaze. An early piece of Melbourne’s history. The original handle has been professionally re-attached, but this spectacular item is not to be missed! Estimate: $1,000 - $1,500. 113. Genuine Abbey Mustard, Richard Gay & Cos, Mustard and Spice Mills, Kirkstall, near Leeds, detailed trade mark of Abbey. This fantastic Australian found jar is very early, possibly 1860’s. It is the larger of two sizes, both of which are extremely rare around the world. Made by the Middlesbro’ Potteries. Est.: $750 - $1,000. This is the int, as opposed to the more available cerning pot lid collector, this is a must tiple colours, a great trade mark and ll at auction, so collectors, here is your Estimate: $10,000 - $12,500. 49. Weeks & White, Canterbury Road, Toorak. Bulls head trade mark. Any bottle from Weeks & White is a rarity, coupled with the detailed trade mark of a bulls head, when one of these torpedo bottles comes up for auction, it is hotly contested! Of the few that we have seen, this is BY FAR the best condition. Most of the others have been polished, this pristine example is shiny and unpolished, with lovely heavy embossing, and has to be seen to be believed. This item, along with the Ireland Rose Bud jar at the top left, are from the amazing Wayne Harris collection, which we will be dispersing gradually over the coming years.
