I document images from daily routine walks or drives that are aesthetically engaging or cause me to react in the form of performing a temporary installation at the site. The drawings then become the only form of documentation of the site or event. I work in colored pencil, often on found or reclaimed rag paper. While the work suggests elements of critical social theory, it is hardly didactic but rather dialogical, with emphasis placed on visual entertainment and cacophonous propaganda.” ►Please come to the advisement center to view Gabriel’s work.
