Set A Winning Example

an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith

March and April were filled with exciting campus ministry activities.
We focused our energy and time on Spring Sports Teams and
School Huddles. First Timothy 4:12 is our scripture focus to encourage students to be an example for Christ in speech, in conduct,
in love, in faith, and in purity. We’re seeing great responses from
students and coaches alike! A few of our campuses are making strong
movements with students and coaches taking the lead. We’re thrilled
to see God working on these campuses.
Student Leadership Training was in April as well. Students and coaches from
nine different schools participated in fun games and team building exercises
along with huddle training and leadership development. It was a great deal of
fun and it even got a little messy! This was a springboard for our Leadership
Training this summer, and we’re really excited about our students becoming
Godly leaders.
Our prayer is that you will also be challenged to be an example for Christ in
speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity. We’re so grateful YOU
are a part of our Home Team. We’re blessed to be given this great opportunity to minister on our campuses. Thank you for your prayers, time,

Leadership Training
Twenty-­‐four athletes and coaches from eight area schools attended Leadership Training at Sheffield First Baptist Church in April. Local FCA Staff and Staff Interns from Northeast Alabama did Huddle Training and played ice-­‐breaker and teambuilding games before enjoying Papa John’s pizza. As a result of the training, the Muscle Shoals Middle School Huddle had a young athlete accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior at their Huddle Meeting the following week!!
