Hannah Calhoun Galatians 1:10 "For am I now trying to win the favor of people, or God? Or am I striving to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ." ETERNAl IMPACT August/September 2015 Success v. Significance Every year, in early August, the football world descends upon Canton, Ohio. It is a weekend to celebrate the success of the best of the best in the football world as a select few are permanently enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. As NE Ohio FCA, we strive to make sure that athletes are not just striving for success, but more importantly, that they are striving for significance. This is the vision behind the FCA Champions Breakfast, hosted annually during Hall of Fame Weekend. This year, we were fortunate enough to have Coach Tony Dungy and Hall of Fame Player Anthony Muñoz join us to share their testimonies. There were 300 coaches, athletes, and community members present to hear each of their journeys not only to success, but to significance through their relationship with Jesus Christ. It was an amazing morning, highlighted by 17 first time commitments to Christ! Check out the pictures highlights below: Prayer Requests: - Pray for God to raise up FCA staff in our Area! "The Harvest is Plenty, but the workers are few!" - Pray for God's Direction and Provision in implementing 3D Coaching into our ministry - Pray for Jake, Hannah, & Titus as they adjust to being a family of three - Praise God for blessing the FCA Champions Breakfast.
