In the summer of 2008, following Errol’s decision to ski for Jamaica, Spyder immediately saw the
marketing potential of Errol Kerr and the Jamaica Ski Team going to the Olympics, and they
jumped on board. In anticipation of all the media hype, they created a complete line of Jamaica
National Team gear, and included a recreational clothing line as well. At the 2009 SIA Trade Show
in Las Vegas, Jamaica Ski Team gear was their featured display. The production of the Jamaica Ski
Team line of clothing is the largest national team line Spyder has ever produced.

Alpine Meadows
Alpine Meadows Ski Resort, one of the largest and most popular resorts in the Lake Tahoe area, is
Errol’s headgear sponsor and official winter training venue. Alpine Meadows, like Spyder, has seen
the marketing potential and international exposure of Errol and the Jamaica Ski Team going into the
Olympics. This is why Errol is a large part of their marketing campaign for the resort. They have
put on multiple “ski with Errol” days, “ski with the Jamaica Ski Team” days, and a party for the
Jamaica Ski Team.
Warren Miller
With Warren Miller filming in February, Errol was Alpine Meadows’ featured athlete, and he fit in
well with the filming crew, skiing with them on February 14-18. While filming with noted
freeskiing athletes Jonny Mosely and Daron Rahlves, the Warren Miller crew was very impressed
with Errol's skiing and attitude. At this point, we are expecting Errol to have a significant segment
in the upcoming Warren Miller film.

PROFILE
Kerr grew up in the Tahoe area, competing in Alpine racing events, with strengths in
downhill and Super G. Kerr charted new territory for himself by racing ski cross in the 0708 season, and finding great success. He finished 5th at the Winter X Games, and 6th
overall in the Jeep Tour. His competitive skills in ski cross were enhanced by a strong
background in BMX and motocross. In May 2008, he was invited on the first U.S.
Skiercross Team..
But, since his childhood, love of his father’s homeland spawned dreams of someday
representing Jamaica in international competition. Kerr set out to make the dream a reality.
With the help of friend and coach Eric Holmer and mother Catherine Kerr, the team has
developed under the direction of the Jamaican Ski Federation.
In the 2008-2009 ski season, Kerr traveled to Ski Cross World Cup races, representing
Jamaica. At the World Ski Cross Championships, he finished 10th overall. Kerr is known
for very fast qualifying times at World Cup events, and, with more maturity and experience,
we are expecting him to increase in skill and ability, and become a top contender.
With Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics drawing closer, the Jamaica ski team will be able to
live out his dream of representing his father’s homeland in the Olympics.
