Carolina Motorsports Park, Inc.
Overview
Carolina Motorsports Park is a purpose built motorsports facility consisting of a 2.27 road racing course, a 0.7 mile
Kart track with multiple configurations and a 200 foot diameter skid pad with wet and dry capability. It is located
on 280 acres on US 521, 7 miles south of Kershaw, SC and 17 miles north of Camden, SC. It is approximately a
one hour drive from both Charlotte, NC and Columbia, SC.
The facility was developed by a group of sports car racers and motorsports enthusiasts from the southeast,
primarily the Carolinas. Land acquisition was completed in July 1998 with construction starting soon thereafter.
The road course was designed by famed track designer Alan Wilson. The road course opened in the spring of
1999.
In the 15 years after the construction of the road course, the park has continued to expand its facilities and services.
Also in this 15 year period, the original ownership group has begun to age, retire from racing and develop new
interests. Accordingly, the owners have decided to consider selling the Company if they can find someone
interested in further developing this regional asset.
The following pages describe the current facilities and operations
