Olin Kreutz is one of Hawaii’s most famous athletes. While attending Honolulu’s St. Louis
High School, Kreutz lettered in football, wrestling and track. Team captain, an All-State pick

and a SuperPep All America choice, he won the ILH Wrestling Heavyweight Championship.

Kreutz excelled in football at the University of Washignton, earning Pac-10 honors before

turning pro with the Chicago Bears. Kreutz played for 13 years with Chicago, including on the
2006 Bears Superbowl team, and was a six-time Pro Bowler. He played one season for the New

Orleans Saints before retiring in 2011, widely recognized as one of the NFL’s all-time great
centers. Remarkably, Kreutz achieved his on-field excellence despite being a lifelong asthmatic.
He was inducted into the Hawaii Sports Hall of Fame earlier this year.
Kreutz, married to his high school sweetheart and father of five, maintains a home on the
Mainland and in Kalama Valley.
