Friendship prepared by the students of Yahya Kemal Beyatlı Anatolian High School 1 Finland 19-23 January 2014 MEMORIES FROM OUR TRIP TO FINLAND At the first I was really excited, everything was all different. Everyone was friendly. I made great friendships that effected me a lot. We saw old part of the city, took pictures and made a podcast about it. Making a podcast was really exhausting. We went to a winter sports area, the lake was frozen and we had so much fun on the ice. We can not see this kind of weather in our country. It was really hard to leave Finland, and I think I will go back there soon :) Onur Cem ŞAHİN ******************************************** Firstly, I have best friends anyway. I have already missed all of them. Finland's food culture, their life styles and education system are excellent. We learned old Finnish dances, some life-saving techniques in Nautical school. We made ice-skating on Baltic Sea, had sauna, ice swimming with my new friends. This was my best experience I have ever had. Both my host friend and all other Finnish students were very hospitable, kind. I have a lot of friends from 7 different countries and I know this friendship will go on forever… Meltem GÜLER 1 Rauma,Helsinki... Maybe, because of the first time I went to those places, this trip was unforgettable. I don't know what answer is but I really loved those cities and liked the way people treat us. I had heard Finnish people don’t like foreigners or are not friendly or not funny or something else. But from the first m o m e n t I a r r i v e d i n Fi n l a n d , I c l e a r l y understood this was wrong! Because ever y people I saw had high-level friendship, they are very hospitable and helpful. We learnt a lot of things about Finnish culture. People were tough about the rules. About traffic lights, trashes, being tidy.... I was fascinated how they were keeping the rules. And I loved Finnish saunas! You are getting in sauna, getting hot at around 40 degrees then running outside (outside is around -15 degrees) and getting into the sea and sea temparature is almost -4 degrees! When they told me this, I just thought “this is crazy!” but I had this crazy experience. The other best thing was ice skating. The ice was qualified and it was hard to fall when you were skating. 2 The last thing I want to talk about is our last day. It was a good party at school, we had a lot of fun, but it was also sad because the following day we had to leave. We got used to each other so it was hard to say goodbye. I still miss my new friends from Finland and from other partner countries. We shared a lot of thing about our cultures from one another and shared our new experiences. This trip is one of the greatest memory and 5 best days in my life. Soner KESKİN 2 Spain 25-29 May 2014 MEMORIES FROM OUR TRIP TO SPAIN It was the first time for me to be in abroad. Before this experience, I always wondered European life style, different cultures and believes and how people they are. With the help of our Comenius project, I can meet different friends from different countries. I have never thought making friends like this. Imagine, before going abroad, you don’t know who you will stay at or if you like same things or not. Then you meet and stay at their home almost a whole week. It is really different experience to stay at somenone’s home who you have never known. But then you notice that you are getting closer and share a lot of memories. Then you don’t want to go back and say “Goodbye”. Both in Turkey and in Spain, we had a lot of friends and memories that we will never forget. I hope I can have a chance to meet again with my new friends I had. Arda BOY ******************************************** This project taught me how we can have friends from different cultures and countries. With my trip to Spain, I had new parents and a family. I shared a lot of memories and I will never forget them. I hope I have a chance to live this kind of experience in 3 future again. Thanks for every perfect seconds.( ( ( ( ( ( ( ( Pelin MERT **************************************************** When I was in Spain, we had a lot of great times. That was really amazing. We made a lot of activities. We had great friendship from different countries. I think this project is definitely useful to improve our English. We went to swim, played beach volleyball, visited historical places. We learnt some words in different languages. We sang songs everywhere. We were like rappers. We hanged out with our close friends from Spain, Germany and Sweden. By the way, I really liked the show which was prepared by the students in Pasico Suena. I will miss all my friends and my lovely rapper so much. I want to thank all coordinators gave a chance to us to live this unforgettable experiences. Esra Nur ERSAN 4 Firstly , I want to thank everyone giving us to live this kind of experience. This project changed my view to life. Especially , I improved my English and I had a lot of friends from eight different countries. Before my trip to Spain, I had only one family but then I had my second parents and a big family who loves me and cares about me ... During the days in Spian, we had a lot of fun, sang songs, played different games, swam, learnt new things from each other, observed new ways of life, education system and cultural differences. We noticed that we actually were the same although we were from different countries. We shared our dreams and secrets :) I will miss all of them but I am not sad. Because I know we can meet all of them some day again... Aslı ERSOY © Project No. 2012-1-ES1-COM6-52434-6 “Bu proje T.C.
