There are a lot of different Pyramids in
Egypt. Here is a list with some of these
Pyramids.

The Pyramids of Gizeh is one of the most
famous pyramids in Egypt. They are also
one of the oldest constructions ever made.
The Pyramids of Gizeh are a group of three
pyramids. The Pyramid of Cheops, the
Pyramid fo Chefren and the Pyramid of
Mycerinus. At the east side of the Pyramids
is the Sphinx of Gizeh.

The Pyramid of Cheops, also named the
Big Pyramid, is the only one of the seven
wonders of the world that is completely
preserved. One of the chambers that is
found inside this pyramid is the Hall of
Archives. Some archaeologists believe that
there were valuable archieves saved within
this chamber. unfortunately there was
nothing found of this archives.
The valley of the Kins is the name of a
valley in Egypt. In this valley are many
graves of the former pharaos.The Valley is
located near the city of Luxor. The most
famous tombe in this Valley is that of
Toetanchamon. South of the Valley is the
Valley of Queens. The Valley of Kings exist
of two parts. the Western half and the
eastern half. The eastern part is accessible
for public. The western part is only
accessible for scientists. They suppose that
there are more tombes in this part of the
valley.

Because of the political problems in Egypt
may it not be such a smart idea to travel at
this moment to the Pyramids. if you want to
enjoy every peace of your journey the best
choice is to wait a bit longer.
The first Pyramid was made 4500 thousend
years ago as a cenotaph for an Egyptian
Pharaoh. The Pharoh was the leader of
Egypt. The Pharaohs after him kept this
way to bury themselves. They were
mummified and layd with there valuables in
the middle of a pyramid. There are about 80
pyramids in Egypt.
What about
The earliest form of the pyramids was some
sort of box-shaped construction. The step
form came later. The place where the
pyramids were build was carefully chosen.
The ground was mostly of limestone
because this is very strong and is is therefor
a good subsoil to carry the pyramid.
There are many Travel options to visit the
different pyramids in Egypt. You can take a
Nile cruise that takes you along many
cultural places with pyramids. You can also
choose to stay the night in Cairo and travel
by yourself to the pyramids.

Pyramid of Chefren
The Sphinx of Gizeh is the biggest and
most famous statue of a sphinx. The Sphinx
of Gizeh is located near the Pyramids of
Gizeh. There are different theories about
the Sphinx. There are people who claim that
there are chambers beneath the Sphinx.
The Sphinx is damaged at different spots.
The nose and the beard aren't on the
statue anymore.
The Pyramid of Cheops is known for the
many hallways within the Pyramid. The
original entrance is located at the north side
of the pyramid but because of earthquakes
this entrance was blocked. In the 10th
century an arabic treasure hunter made
another entrance. From this entrance there
is an hallway down in to the pyramid. This
hallway leads to an unfinished chamber.
From this hallway leads another hallway to
the burial chambers.
The Pyramid of Chefren is the second
pyramid of Gizeh after Cheops. The
Pyramid of Chefren is the tombe of king
Chefren. The Pyramid of Chefren isn't
investigated like there is with the Pyramid of
Cheops. The reason for this is that the
Pyramid of Chefren doesn't has that much
chambers as the Pyramid of Cheops had.
