Her summer internship in 2010 with the company led to a job offer this Fall. 2 Queens Senior Plans 3 Intern Stories 4 Intern Stories 5 Senior Plans Interships and Career Programs Information Sweet Sounds of Success: Erin Mann is Music Director for Big Spring United Methodist Church, and also organizes music for the chapel here at Queens! Sara Parks, Business Major, heads to Ford. . .in a Ford! She interned with the company during the summer of 2010. Jordan Dills, Business Major, also accepted a full-time position with Ford. Jessica Alberto (left) has an offer for a Music Therapy internship in Ft Lauderdale, FL for January 2012. Meanwhile, she plans to volunteer at Levine Children’s Center and work with special needs kids this summer. After that? Look for her on Broadway! Jon King (left) is a Music Columnist & Sales Manager for Enjoy Life Magazine. Brandi Moon heads to Western Carolina University in the fall for her Masters of Arts in Teaching for Choral Conducting. Royals British Invasion 4 Seniors Make Plans for UK Adventures Lindsey Collins travels to Oxford University, where she will enter their Master of Studies in Modern English and European History Program in the Fall. David Wiese & Alex Warehime have applied for the Lacrosse the Pond program to play club ball & pursue graduate studies at University of Exeter or University of Manchester. Travis Mullis will be attending the University of Nottingham in England for a Masters Program in English Literature and Linguistics. Other Globetrotting Seniors Joey Haynes (pictured above) is hoping to return to Guatemala to teach, volunteer, or work in the nonprofit sector. Catherine Vericella has decided to move to Italy after graduation to pursue teaching English as a second language. Getting Down to Business Milenko Fadic accepted an offer with Merck in Charlotte. Angelique Morabito has plans to pursue her Professional MBA from the McColl School of Business here at Queens & continue her collegiate lacrosse career. Ely Friedman has accepted a Financial Analyst position with HF Financial/Mass Mutual in Charlotte. Eric McCarthy, shown here in London during his summer 2010 with the London School of Economics, will be moving to New York City for a Financial Analyst position with Morgan Stanley. Healthy Futures Lance Hutchens has been accepted to the University of North Carolina Dental School for Fall 2011, and looks forward to moving back to Chapel Hill. Megan Schlie Dunn, RN, BSN, had several job offers but chose to work as a nurse at Presbyterian Hemby Children’s Hospital. Jessica Neville plans to work this summer as a Research Assistant at Queens to conduct preliminary research on a sports psychology study. Megan O’Brien will be pursuing a Doctorate Program of Physical Therapy at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Natalie McLemore (right) will be attending the University of South Carolina in the fall for a masters program in higher education and student affairs. Olympia Agnew, Biology Major, conducted a job shadow for her World of Work class that turned into an internship offer for this summer at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences in Raleigh, NC. Divine Designs Kelly Wood, Interior Design major, interning at John Bossard Design in Charlotte.
