Seasoned Canadian cowboy-jazz heroes, the Bebops,
who serve up western swing, will be joined by Canadian
roots icon Russell deCarle of Prairie Oyster. Put on your
dancing boots, it doesn’t get better than this.
Join violinist & tenor Peter DeSotto, Alexander Sevastian,
the number One ranked accordion player in the world
and Ancaster clarinetist Mark Thompson. You are in for
an evening of virtuosity, great music and fun!
Heather Bambrick, a native of St. John’s Newfoundland,
has been singing for about as long as she’s been talking.
Currently, this 2004 Vocalist of the Year winner hosts
Sunday Afternoon Jazz on FM 91.

Direct from Los Angeles, Carol, a world class JazzCabaret singer, songwriter and pianist, pays tribute to
Peggy Lee from her new album- I Like Men. She was
considered by Oscar to be one of his favourite singers.
Tradition-based yet curiously modern, the trio’s harmonies
are a feast of opulent chords and ever changing textures.
British, American, Irish, and Canadian traditional ballads
keep company with sea shanties and drinking songs.
Valerie, who has been performing since age 5 years, has a
repertoire ranging from Bach to contemporary composers.
Her work includes more than sixty concertos and a vast
amount of chamber music. She is in demand worldwide.

“…Danny has hit his stride as a guitarist, vocalist and
host… a formidable triple threat. He can pull on your
heart strings one moment, and slay you with a one liner
the next.” (Toronto Blues Society)
This group’s marriage of Canadian, Scottish and Irish
music has been rapturously received around the world.
Members from Scotland, Ireland, Cape Breton and
Vancouver are united by a love of traditional music.

“Ian Tyson is … a romantic, realist, rancher and a true
singing cowboy, riding out on what he calls a fenceless
plain… Tyson’s songs are strewn with story, lore, and
legends.” (Troubadour 5/09)

Music
From Gazebo to Hay Wagon
to Bandshell
In 1995, the “Music at the Gazebo” Series began in
front of Ancaster’s Old Town Hall. Six years later, it was
relocated to Fieldcote where the initial concerts were
held on a shaky, creaky, hay wagon! In 2001, diehard
Fieldcote volunteers and fundraisers provided the
necessary physical and financial resources to construct
CANADA
the current band shell.
The Music at Fieldcote series celebrates a high calibre
of talent with musicians holding local, national and
international reputations. Music at Fieldcote thrives on the
passion of its volunteers and the donations from private
and corporate sponsors. If you would like to volunteer or
make a financial contribution, please contact Leah Higens
