The History of the
Fieldcote Music Series:

From Gazebo to Hay Wagon
to Bandshell
In 1995, the ”Music at the Gazebo” Series began in
front of Ancaster’s Old Town Hall. Six years later, it was
relocated to Fieldcote where the initial concerts were
held on a shaky, creaky, hay wagon! In 2001, diehard
Fieldcote volunteers and fundraisers provided the
necessary physical and financial resources to construct
the current band shell.
