Reach potential customers in the non-profit housing sector!
Our news magazine is distributed to more than 2,300 subscribers,
many of whom consider the magazine to be their primary source
of non-profit housing sector news and advice. According to our
June 2014 reader survey, more than half of subscribers share QC
articles with their coworkers.
Our readers include property managers, senior managers,
maintenance workers, and front-line staff who work with tenants
and people applying to live in non-profit housing.
We’ve gone digital
Quick Connections is now a blog-style web page that we actively
promote by email and social media channels.
This digital format provides a more nimble way of connecting our
readers to sector updates and to advertisers like you.
Readers can:
share articles on social media
comment on blog posts
print or save individual articles for future reading
Click on links to go straight to our advertisers’ website or
other promotional page
We track the number of people who visit the website, what pages
and articles they’re most interested in, and how many times users
click on advertisements and sponsored content.
To get the most out of your ad in this new format, we recommend
keeping your word count brief (about 10 to 30 words), direct and
include an invitation for readers to call or visit your website for more
information.

Two new ways to reach purchasers in the housing sector.
OPTION
A:
Display advertising:
Advertisements will be sold on a monthly rotation.
ONPHA will provide ad specifications (dimensions,
color space, etc.) and the advertiser will supply
the advertisement and the web address for clickthrough.
A maximum of three ads will be displayed at once.
Small ad: sidebar (300 x 125px)
Large ad: footer (600 x 125px)
Large ad: sidebar (300 x 450px)

Sponsored content:
SPONSORED
CONTENT
Sponsored posts will be written by advertisers, in consultation with
ONPHA staff members. All sponsored posts will be clearly labelled as
paid, advertorial content. Posts will average 200 to 300 words. ONPHA
will include up to one sponsored post every two weeks. Sponsored
posts should be relevant and interesting to QC readers. Posts can
include video or up to two photos. Posts can also include up to three
hyperlinks.
Unlike advertisements, which disappear after their run, sponsored
posts will be available in the Quick Connections archive for as long
as the magazine is available online – this helps future readers learn
about your company. Posts will be amplified through ONPHA’s social
media channels and will be included in the monthly Quick Connections
e-digest.

Sponsored posts could take several forms:
• Product reviews and comparisons
• Guest columns, e.g. “ask the expert”
• Lists of tips or best practices
• Announcements
• Other styles, to be negotiated with QC editor

ONPHA offers advertising space in its e-Alert newsletter, which is distributed to about 6,000 subscribers every two
weeks. Our subscriber list includes housing providers, service managers, and others connected to the non-profit
housing sector.
