VERDICT
The wide mouth with
slide clip allows simple
filling, cleaning and drying of
the bladder. It features a quick release tube, you
can easily handle the valve lock system with two
fingers and the water flows with light pressure.
Only the additional cap for the mouthpiece did not
fit. We cut it off straight away so it won’t dangle.
Apart from this, it is a great hydration bladder.

The wider the mouth, the easier
it is to refill, clean and dry the hydration bladder.
The models with slide opening are easier to
handle than those with screw top. None of the
openings leaked. Some of the valve locks were
rather stiff others super flexible. For those who
are looking for a cheap drinking system: take the
Active Leisure. Those who want to use it in cold
conditions should choose the insulated Camelbak
system.
The Deuter Streamer 2.0 L is the test winner offering great features for its money:
a simple, wide slide opening, a quick release tube and a valve lock that allows easy
handling with thumb and index finger.
