Los Angeles Chapter · No. 27 · January 2015 Newsletter A WORD FROM ROGER WACKER - JANUARY 2015 Dear Members and Friends, As 2014 comes to an end and on behalf of my wife Angelle Grace and the Los Angeles, CA. Swiss American Chamber of Commerce, I want to thank all of you for another super year. It has been an honor to serve as your chairman for the past 24 years, leading our Swiss community to the highest level of excellence in the Los Angeles community. Our dynamic board members are already collaborating on the 2015 calendar, strategizing development and growth while incorporating our future generations dreams. Establishing and organizing the line up for topics, speakers and exciting new guests is the pulse that keeps the heart beat of our chamber pumping. I want to thank everyone especially my wife, Angelle Grace Wacker, for putting these events together with our coordinators Linda Cain, Lisa Benavidez and Debbie Toyoshiba, and for making our chamber a source of inspiration for our community. Their efforts in managing the attendance and making each event memorable, deserves a very special mention. Thank You ! 2014 was also one of reflection on what our chamber brings to the Swiss- American community and how we can continue to be a relevant source of inspiration and engagement. Our goal for 2015, is to attract an even larger audience with decidedly more focused meetings, as well as introducing a format of social business mixers promoting interaction and discussion to build economic opportunities and development. I would like to reflect upon the chamber occurrences that have given us abundant knowledge, much joy, amazement, sadness, the opportunity to engage with our peers and laugh with our associates. Personally and professionally I am very grateful to have shared all these moments with my family, friends and colleagues. February is our Entertainment Industry and “Oscar Awards” inspired event. Our chamber honored former mayor Mr. Richard Riordan for his contributions to the City of Angels as well as American actress, film director and producer Mrs. Rosanne Arquette. Our April event featured a Swiss born sustainability advocate, Dr. Mathis Wackernagel, Ph.D. president of the Global Footprint Network. Our evening also featured Dr. Morry Waksberg, the son of a holocaust survivor and graduate of Harvard and UCLA medical schools. As we adopt the Affordable Healthcare Reform Act, his message enlightened us on what we can expect as policies are implemented. The oldest Swiss watch company, Du Bois & Fils presented their stunning watch collection. In June we celebrated the 100 year anniversary of the City of Beverly Hills. We were honored to feature Mr. Stanley Black, real estate tycoon and philanthropist as our special guest. We thank him for all the charities he supports especially the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. Dr. Edward O. Terino, acclaimed plastic surgeon, was our speaker on the art of surgery and were entertained by Bossa Nova singer Bianca Rossini. Our summer recess was followed by a spectacular event that included John Fitzgerald, master drummer and communication expert. He brought a percussion instrument for every guest and after a few minutes we were communicating in sync with rhythmic energy. Sailing and being on the open sea is a favorite pastime of mine, so I was especially delighted to have Sheriff David Scheinfarb, from Marina del Rey, as our guest speaker. The Sheriff is president of the Challenges Foundation and his passion is giving our wounded warriors an opportunity to sail on the legendary sailing vessel, Emerald. As we grow wiser we realize health is wealth. Dr. Sandhya Pruthi from the Mayo Clinic, a medical group that ensures the highest levels of patient care and service. Their teams of doctors provide synchronized care and serve as a quarterback in keeping us healthy. The year was also marked with a visit from the CEO of the Swiss American Chamber of Commerce Mr. Martin Naville. Mr. Naville is a tremendous leader and inspiration to us all. Advisor and performance consultant, Mr. Spike Humer reminded us that we all have unique and special qualities and that we have the capabilities of making a difference in this world by doing more from the heart. Unfortunately this year did not go by without a terrible loss to our Swiss Camber community. We were very saddened by the loss of Dr. Hans von Leden. He was a frequent guest at our Chamber events and will be sorely missed ! Our Holiday Dinner will be held on December 11th at The Beverly Hills Hotel which will close out our season. This event will feature festive surprise guests, holiday cheer and Nestle chocolate. As always I want to thank the board, and especially my wife Angelle Grace, for the tireless effort in connecting our Swiss and Los Angeles communities through our events. Those of you that are not yet members, and would like to become one, please consider a corporate or friend’s membership in support of this great organization and the events that are presented. I wish everyone a very happy, healthy and Prosperous New Year and I look forward to having you join us for our 2015 exciting line up of stimulating speakers. With best personal regards for a happy and healthy 2015. HANS VON LEDEN, 95, EAR, NOSE AND THROAT SPECIALIST TO ENTERTAINERS, LAWYERS AND MINISTERS We were very sad to learn of the passing of our friend Dr. Hans von Leden on March 5, 2014. Dr. Von Leden was actively involved in our Swiss American Chamber of Commerce and a frequent attendee at our dinner functions. You will be dearly missed ! Dr. Hans von Leden, 95, an ear, nose and throat specialist who taught at UCLA and USC and treated voice disorders in singers, attorneys, teachers, politicians, pastors and other professionals, died March 5 at his home in Los Angeles, his family announced. No cause was given. Known as a go-to doctor for entertainers stricken with laryngitis, Von Leden often traveled to Las Vegas, Reno and elsewhere on short notice to relieve a singer’s or actor’s symptoms. For decades in his private practice, he treated all manner of patients whose voices had been strained or overused. Together with Dr. G. Paul Moore, Dr. von Leden transformed how physicians and speech-language pathologists work together to assess and treat voice disorders. Hans Victor von Leden was born Nov. 20, 1918, in Breslau, in what is now Poland. His father was a prominent Catholic physician who fled to the United States in the late 1930s to avoid the advancing Nazis. The younger Von Leden followed and settled in Chicago with his family. After receiving his medical degree from Chicago’s Loyola University in 1941, Von Leden focused on the fields of otolaryngology and plastic surgery while at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., and then became a throat specialist in Chicago. During his tenure as a professor at Northwestern University in the 1950s, Von Leden and a colleague gained notice for using a camera mounted on a helmet that a doctor wore while examining patients. On closed circuit TV, medical students were able to watch the transmissions from a periscope lens pointed into the body cavity. In 1961, Von Leden and his wife, Mary Louise, moved to Los Angeles, where he took a teaching position at the UCLA Medical School and opened his practice. In 1966, he moved across town to become a professor at USC; he retired from the university in 1985. He also served for a time as president of the Los Angeles County Medical Assn. He is survived by his children, and will be remembered with respect and gratitude by the generations of voice professionals working to advance the field and ideas that he helped create. He will be missed by his many friends and colleagues. 3 4 THE 2014 SWISS AWARDS HONORING FORMER LOS ANGELES MAYOR RICHARD RIORDAN AND AMERICAN ACTRESS, FILM DIRECTOR & PRODUCER, ROSANNE ARQUETTE Thursday, February 20, 2014 Richard Riordan, Former Los Angeles Mayor Rosanna Arquette, American Actress & Goodwill Ambassador for The Womanity Foundation Music by Johnny Polanco and The Johnny Polanco Band On a February evening scented with orange and jasmine blossoms, the SACC gathered to honor two very unique humanitarians with the 2014 Swiss Awards. As is our tradition, Chairman Roger Wacker started the evening with heartfelt renditions of the Swiss and American National anthems. Academy-Award winning Swiss producer Arthur Cohn introduced our first recipient Rosanna Arquette, whom he had the pleasure of working with on the film White Lies (1997). We all enjoyed a clip from the movie The Whole Nine Yards (2000) that Ms. Arquette starred in with Matthew Perry and Bruce Willis. Chairman Wacker presented the Swiss Crystal Award to Ms. Arquette for her work as the Goodwill Ambassador for The Womanity Foundation, whose mission is to empower girls and women to shape their future and accelerate progress within their communities. On accepting the award, Arquette said, “The great part about being an actor is doing wonderful things in the world. We are all ambassadors of humanity.” Rosanna Arquette is Womanity’s first goodwill ambassador. Appointed in 2010, Arquette is devoted to peace, justice and the advancement of women around the world. She works with Womanity to spur action at all levels of society in pursuit of our goals. Arquette is best known for her star-making performance opposite Madonna in Susan Sedelman’s 1985 hit Desperately Seeking Susan. Arquette won the BAFTA Award as Best Supporting Actress and was nominated for a Golden Globe for this role. She has appeared in over 70 films. Richard Riordan, Former Mayor of Los Angeles from 1993-2001 is a noted humanitarian for education. Chairman Wacker announced some of Riordan and the Riordan Foundation’s accomplishments like his “Rx for Reading” program whose goal is to teach children how to read and write. The Riordan Foundation has distributed over 21,700 computers and 128,000 books to schools. Continued on page 6 5 Mr. Riordan immediately captured our admiration for his tale about riding his bike once from Stockholm to Geneva. He made us laugh with his “most embarrassing moment as Mayor” story when he visited a senior center in Van Nuys. He thought one 90-year old woman looked familiar but she said she never met him before in her life. When he asked if she knew who he was, she said, “No, but I’ll take you to the front desk and you can ask them who you are.” Venture capitalist Bill Draper has made an impact on Riordan’s “common sense” thinking. He encouraged us to take a few risks in investing. Riordan told us his five keys to leadership are courage, caring, empowering others, relentless pursuit of goals and a sense of humor. After the 1994 Northridge Earthquake, Riordan was faced with the monumental task of getting the city running again. Instead of taking months to do studies, he empowered his staff to make decisions quickly. He thinks the future of Los Angeles fares better than the rest of the state and country although we are not training enough young people in complicated high tech job. Mr. Riordan, on closing said, “Treat everyone with respect. It’s magic what you can do in life.” Johnny Polanco and his band provided the evening’s wonderful musical accompaniment. 6 FINDING BALANCE IN OUR ENVIRONMENT AND HEALTHCARE SYSTEMS DR. MATHIS WACKERNAGEL, PH.D., GLOBAL FOOTPRINT NETWORK, DR. MORRY WAKSBERG, M.D. MUSIC BY ALEC MILSTEIN AND MILSTEIN MUSIC Wednesday, April 23, 2014 Our evening in April was spent in learning new perspectives in balance from renowned experts in the environment and healthcare. Mathis Wackernagel is a Swiss-born sustainability advocate. He is President of Global Footprint Network, an international sustainability think tank with offices in Oakland, California; Brussels, Belgium, and Geneva, Switzerland. The think-tank is a non-profit that focuses on developing and promoting metrics for sustainability. His awards include the 2012 Blue Planet Prize, the Kenneth Boulding Memorial Award, and the Zayed International Prize for the Environment, an honorary doctorate from the University of Bern, and a Skoll Award for Social Entrepreneurship. He is also co-creator of the Ecological Footprint, a data-driven metric that tells us how much nature we use compared to how much we have. Footprint accounts work like bank statements: tracking our ecological income and expenditures. How much do California residents take? How much can Californian ecosystems regenerate? Imagine if human demand on nature was monitored as closely as the stock market. Then, designers would be shaping products, buildings and cities that fit within the budget constraints of our one-planet Footprints. In such a world, all humans could prosper and development could succeed because we would be living off the planet’s income rather than its liquidation. Among the points Dr. Wackernagel and his team make are that humanity uses more resources than the earth produces. 17% of the population consumes 80% of the resources. Global consumption is unevenly distributed, favoring only a few and is also extremely inefficient. Their goal is to help humanity, nation by nation, avoid ecological bankruptcy. Ecological assets are the underlying wealth for which any other wealth depends. Dr. Morry Waksberg is the son of Holocaust survivors Jack and Ida Waksberg. He was born on March 29, 1947 in a Displaced Persons Camp located in Stuttgart, Germany. One year later, in 1948, the Waksberg family moved to Detroit, Michigan where they founded the Michigan Holocaust Museum. He attended medical school at Albert Einstein School of Medicine, interned at Harvard Medical School and completed his residency at UCLA Medical School. Dr. Waksberg practiced medicine at UCLA for many years before starting his own private practice as an ophthalmologist. He has worked as an advisor to President George H.W. Bush, Assemblyman Paul Koretz and Assemblyman Tom Hayden on health related policy issues. Dr. Waksberg, a long time member of The Stanley Black Problem Solver Group. He was the independent candidate for the California 54th District. He shares that in the Assembly there 8 Continued on page 10 is one doctor and in the Senate there are no doctors. So out of 120 elected officials there is a single doctor. He has become a strong voice for health care. In his YouTube video Dr. Waksberg describes how he believes the current healthcare system is broken: “It’s important to keep the same doctor or healthcare group because they know the patient’s history. The more continuity, the better it works. A new doctor may order more expensive tests that could be potentially harmful to a patient.” Medical profession motto: “Above all, do no harm.” With the Affordable Healthcare Reform Act, Insurance companies can’t cancel patients, but they end the policy and offer a new, more expensive one. Dr. Waksberg believes he can help change the system by being the only medical doctor in the House and staying true to the medical motto. We hope he continues in his quest to win a seat. The evening was enhanced by the uplifting sounds of Alec Milstein and the Milstein Band. 10 SWITZERLAND EMBRACES BEVERLY HILLS: OUR 100-YEAR ANNIVERSARY! STANLEY BLACK, REAL ESTATE TYCOON AND PHILANTHROPIST, DR. EDWARD O. TERINO, ACCLAIMED PLASTIC SURGEON MUSIC BY BIANCA ROSSINI, BRAZILIAN MUSICIAN, ACTRESS AND AUTHOR Thursday, JUNE 19, 2014 The Swiss and American National Anthems never sounded as good as they did at our June meeting as we celebrated our 100 year anniversary with two of Los Angeles’ most prominent citizens: Mr. Stanley Black and Dr. Edward Terino and the multi-talented Bianca Rossini. “If you have much, give of your wealth; if you have little, give of your heart.” …that philosophy sums up how colorful Beverly Hills real estate tycoon and philanthropist Stanley Black has managed to combine a dynamic business life with a wealth of humanitarian endeavors and prosper for more than a halfcentury. The native Angelino attended Los Angeles High School and LA City College before serving an 18-month hitch in the U.S. Navy. Following discharge from the service in 1954, he joined the highly successful and sought after Buckeye Realty & Management Company to be trained on every aspect of commercial real estate. Whether it was finance, construction or the overall management of office buildings, they did it all and they did it right. After two years at Buckeye, Stanley struck out on his own and joined forces with Alan Kaplan to establish KB Management in 1957. When Kaplan died in 1985 the families decided to go their own ways by opening their own offices. Stanley was joined by his son Jack, and Bob Barth and together they formed and opened Black Equities. Always aimed with an open door policy and giving his personal attention to every detail has enabled Black Equities to grow into one of the finest and largest real estate holdings firm in the U.S. With all the success, Stanley (and his family) has been very active with charitable giving and support. Among his most notable contributions is in 2004, he made a large donation to the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), which renamed its garden the Joyce and Stanley Black and Family Healing and Meditation Garden. In 2013, he donated another $15 million to the CHLA. As a result, the former Gateway Building facing Sunset Boulevard was renamed the Joyce and Stanley Black Family Building. He published a book called Thoughts to Live By which he proudly gives to businesses and social acquaintances. It’s a tradition that Black’s father, Jack Black, started when he was working in Continued on page 12 11 the garment industry. “It was his hope that these ‘thoughts of the day’ would capture one’s conscience and pave the way to a better life,” Black writes of his father in the introduction to the fifth volume of his own booklet. The 80 or so pithy sayings that appear alongside the Ten Commandments in the most recent booklet say a lot about how Black considers business and life. “It’s the empty can that makes the most noise,” reads one. “The best exercise is reaching down and lifting people up,” goes another. (The Jewish Journal) A graduate of Amherst College and Yale University, Dr. Edward O. Terino brings a unique combination of art and surgery to his practice. Dr. Terino is a Certified Diplomat of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has served on the teaching staff of several universities, including UCLA, USC and Stanford. Dr. Terino worked voluntarily at the Albert Schweitzer Hospital, in Haiti, and also throughout Central and South America, helping impoverished people by performing free surgeries on deformed and maimed children. Dr. Terino frequently teaches and lectures here in the United States and abroad, and was recently honored with the “Traveling Professor” award from the prestigious American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. His textbooks The Art of Facial Contouring and Sculpting Faces in Three Dimensions are best sellers in the medical field. Dr. Terino is not only world renowned for his accomplishments as a plastic surgeon, but as an innovator in the specialized new techniques of three-dimensional face contouring. Recently, Dr. Terino was invited by the Pope to personally present the latest developments in his field. He also has been featured in numerous news articles and television shows. You may have seen him on FOX News, BBC, KTLA, The Discovery Channel, The Learning Center, as well as in W, Elle, Glamour, Lifestyle, and People magazines. He is a pioneer in the development of many of today’s techniques such as “Somme Lift” and the very successful “IN STYLE Lift” which tightens the lower face and neck. At the forefront of Los Angeles’ current wave of Brazilian music and becoming a significant voice in Brazilian music is Rio de Janeiro-born, Los Angeles-based Bianca Rossini, renowned for her sensuous performances of Bossa Nova, Samba and Bolero. Her multi-faceted career includes feature film and television acting roles opposite stars including James Spader Hector Elizondo, Richard Dreyfuss, Christian Slater, Dick Van Dyke and Dom DeLuise. Bianca also appeared in movies Moon Over Parador, The Fast One, Brainiacs, Mobsters, and Bad Influence. Bianca has composed music for TV series The Sentinel and Chicago Hope. She produced and hosted more than 100 episodes for weekly Los Angeles TV talk show, The Bianca Rossini Show. Bianca has authored three books: Love in Black and White with photographs by Michael Kenna, Bilingual Edition (English/Portuguese), A Brazilian Heart - Rubies, Murder Love and Other Poems, and Julia - Confessions of a Brazilian Super Model. Bianca’s new CD Meu Amor follows her internationally acclaimed Kiss of Brasil original Bossa Nova album. It was a real pleasure for all who attended to get to be in the presence of such notable friends of the Swiss American Chamber of Commerce. 12 13 14 15 THE BEAT GOES ON: FROM LAND AND SEA JOHN FITZGERALD, MASTER DRUMMER & COMMUNICATIONS EXPERT DAVID SCHEINFARB, MARINA DEL REY DEPUTY SHERIFF AND PRESIDENT OF CHALLENGER FOUNDATION Thursday, October 16, 2014 Passion was the word that defined a special evening in October for the Swiss American Chamber of Commerce. What seemed like an unusual pairing of guest speakers proved to be a most entertaining evening by these two unique storytellers. John Fitzgerald led the group outside on a variety of percussion instruments to demonstrate how music and rhythm allow us to communicate on a whole new level. Mr. Fitzgerald said, “The focus of the evening’s drumming was communication; what drives communication? Are we in “sync” with others? What rhythmic “energy” do we need to inspire and lead others? Drums of all sizes and shapes were used along with hand held percussion instruments; shakers, tambourines, bells and blocks. They represented the diverse voices, both loud and soft, that are present in any community, and necessary for a rich and productive dialogue.” “I had a great time and love this work and what it can accomplish for organizations and individuals, everything from pure fun and celebration to insights into team function, diversity awareness.” After a lovely dinner of fried green tomatoes, whitefish and ice cream sundaes, we had the pleasure of hearing Marina del Rey Deputy Sheriff David Scheinfarb talk about his passion project, Challenges Foundation and the legendary sailing vessel, Emerald. Sheriff Scheinfarb is the President of Challenges Foundation, an accredited Wounded Warriors Project resource, that provides sailing experiences and an introduction to the world of sailing and seamanship free of charge to youth, adults and Veterans of our community who face life and/or physical challenges. The historic American sailing vessel Emerald was built in 1923 in Oakland, CA and first sailed in 1924. In May 1963 she sank in four minutes after hitting a break wall in Redondo Beach. All four passengers and their dog were rescued, sadly, a parrot was not. The boat was raised by legendary diver and Body Glove co-founder Bob Meistrell and restored to her full glory by Challenges Foundation founding member Nicolas Coster. Another notable footnote in the Emerald’s lore is as the death site of Beach Boy Dennis Wilson, who dove off the ship and drowned in 1983. Scheinfarb described the experience, “There is a special feeling being out on the boat, out at 16 sea, powered by the wind, when their faces light up and take the helm, or feel the ocean breeze sweep past. Observing the tidal ebb and flow, the coastal birds, the sea lions and the dolphins, hearing the water lap gently past the boat as we make our way along the coastline, – they get a feeling of peace, a feeling of tranquility – something that is outside the grind of their daily lives.” He offered this analogy about the Emerald and its passengers, ”You may get hit or even sink, but there is always hope and a way up to a life worth living.” He graciously accepted a donation from President Roger Wacker and the Swiss American Chamber of Commerce for Challenges Foundation. 17 18 19 HEALTH IS WEALTH DR. SANDHYA PRUTHI, THE MAYO CLINIC, MR. SPIKE HUMER, GLOBAL PUBLISHING GROUP MR. MARTIN NAVILLE, CEO, SWISS-AMERICAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, CHAIRMAN OF ZOO ZURICH, INC. BEN WOODS, CLASSICAL AND FLAMENCO GUITARIST Thursday, November 20, 2014 Mr. Martin Naville, CEO of the Swiss-American Chamber of Commerce started the meeting with his positive assessment of the state of affairs between the Swiss and US. Research and innovation are two of the top areas of interest between our countries. Naville, in his other major role as Chairman of Zoo Zurich, shared a charming video of elephants swimming in their new sanctuary. He promised any visiting member of the SACC-LA would receive a private tour of this fantastic zoo. Think how much your daily life would be enhanced if people would just LISTEN to you! In our personal health, family life and businesses we are often in such a rush that we neglect to listen to those closest to us and unfortunately, that also includes those we are in contact with professionally. Rest assured, there is a world-renowned medical group who WILL listen! President Roger Wacker shared his own personal positive experience with The Mayo Clinic before introducing Dr. Sandhya Pruthi, a consultant in the Division of General Internal Medicine at Mayo Clinic. She is an associate medical director of the Breast Diagnostic Clinic. Dr. Pruthi also serves as medical director of patient experience at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MI, helping to ensure the highest levels of patient service. She currently holds the academic rank of associate professor of medicine in Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. Mr. Wacker talked about his uber doctor appointment that was so extensive it entailed a twoday itinerary and a team of specialists. Even with the best care available in Los Angeles, this kind of a comprehensive review would take nine months to schedule. Dr. Pruthi was part of this team of integrated physicians at the Mayo Clinic Model of Care. The needs of the patient come first in this coordinated comprehensive care plan. A team of doctors on a synchronized schedule evaluates each patient. Your primary physician then serves as your quarterback in analyzing the best plan to keep you on a healthy track. In addition to the million patients that pass through their doors, the Mayo Clinic serves an additional 200 million globally through its tele-medicine programs and 32 clinics across the US. Dr. Pruthi shared some of their breakthrough research in pancreatic and breast cancer treatment and regenerative medicine. Mr. Spike Humer is widely recognized as a thought-leader and world-renowned expert in leading and inspiring companies, organizations, and individuals to achieve more, have more, and be more. He’s been called the “mentor’s mentor” and is highly regarded as a master 20 marketing strategist and performance acceleration expert. Humer serves as a trusted advisor and performance consultant to entrepreneurs and individuals from virtually every walk-of-life and in countless industries. He is an acclaimed author, speaker and creator of “The 10 Day Turnaround Methodologie,” “Rapid Success Technologie,” and “The Overnight Entrepreneur” seminars, book, and workshop series. Mr. Humer’s topic was “Start Marketing from the Heart: How to Build Your Business by Being Who You Are.” He asked us, “What woke you up this morning? Today is a great day to do something wonderful! Make a difference with the people you interact with in life.” Mr. Humer advised us to “recognize what we do and who we serve. What makes you, your business and your product unique? How do you get your client to say this about you: ‘I’m better off because I was able to do business with this person. I’m important to this person.’” According to Humer there are only FOUR ways to implement change: 1) 2) 3) 4) STOP what you are doing wrong START what you need to do Do MORE of what works best Do LESS of what doesn’t work! Remember to do it from your heart! Our evening was further enhanced by the beautiful musical accompaniment of Ben Woods on guitar as we enjoyed poached pear salad, fresh Chilean sea bass and ice cream sundaes. 21 22 23 Chapter Calendar Event Date: - Wednesday, February 18, 2015 Time: - 6:15 Reception, 7PM Dinner Event Topic: - TBD Speakers: Location: - The Beverly Hills Hotel Event Date: - Thursday, May 21, 2015 Time: - 6:15 Reception, 7PM Dinner Event Topic: - TBD Speaker: Location: - The Beverly Hills Hotel Event Date: - Thursday, October 15, 2015 Time: - 6:15 Reception, 7PM Dinner Event Topic: - TBD Speaker: Location: - The Beverly Hills Hotel Event Date: - Thursday, November 19, 2015 Time: - 6:15 Reception, 7PM Dinner Event Topic: - TBD Speaker: Location: - The Beverly Hills Hotel Event Date: Time: Event Topic: Speaker: Location: - Thursday, December 10, 2015 - 6:15 Reception, 7PM Dinner - TBD - The Beverly Hills Hotel Articles Contributed by Ron Hirt, Primary Color and Lynn Gullo, Pinky On The Pulse Newsletter Edited by Ron Hirt Newsletter Printed by Primary Color 24 www.amchamla.com
